Exactly what I needed and what was described.
One inch isn't the thickest and there aren't many applications for stuff this thin, but for MY project it was perfect. It arrives in a vacuum pack, so give it time to expand on its own when you open it before putting to use. Clean and durable. Responds to Xacto knife cutting very well.

1 Inch thick and perfect for my application!
Works perfectly. Once you remove the packaging it fluffs up to the full 1 inch thickness. I needed to elevate my monitor only 1 inch and this did the trick!

Quality
Nice highly compressed foam, yet comfortable. I used it to make a sissy bar pad and the girlfriend says it's very comfortable. I tried cutting it with an utility knife, ended up using a pair of good scissors.

Trimmed 2 of these and used them as vent covers for my house foundation vents. Worked just fine and helped insulate my crawl space.

great craft foam
As I was recovering two small bistro chairs I found that the foam padding was also done. I ordered these pads and find that they are exactly what I needed. They are as described (foam was compressed for shipping, but expanded when opened). Great value for the money.
