Does anyone know if the folding version is as good or better then the fixed position?

Won't work in the rear door of a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Sahara JLU

This is heavy duty. I purchased this as I needed a step up to get to the top of my 23 Jeep Wrangler JLU. Although this will work in the front it does not work in either backseat door. I wish I had seen a review that said this and I would not have purchased this. It was extremely easy to slip in the front, but that wasn't where I needed the step. If you have a two door I'm sure it would be perfect.
