Added USB interface to older serial gear
I had an older piece of ham radio equipment which was programmed via a serial port. I was able to mount this on the front panel and wire it to the internal serial port. Now I can use it with a modern computer!

Not as advertised
The driver is ancient and does not work with modern macos.

Garbage
Paid a little more thinking I'd get a better product but nope it puffed the magic blue smoke 3 time using. I have several cheap cheap ones that have lasted forever. Very disappointed

Excellent quality
The feel and construction of this item is superb. I use it as an aldl connection to my obd1 truck and it works flawlessly with my phone and aldldroid app.
