Quiet, powerful, and easy to use. I have a bean animal overflow box that uses 3/4 inch plumbing, approximately 45 inches above the pump. This pump provides sufficient flow for my 70 gallon system. It's not audible unless I press my ear up against the sump.

Was a bit hesitant to buy as it’s cheap, but has been running flawlessly for my return pump on my planted tank. Strong and adjustable flow and absolutely silent!Best bang for your buck on pumps out there. The only thing I’d love to see down the road is 11/24V volt control capability to be able to adjust setting with my aquarium controller.

Dead quiet! Barely hear it because it's DC, all my other AC pumps and power heads have that annoying hummmm noise and vibration.I'm using it as a return pump for my reef tank and when i put it to maximum there is a turbulence in my tank, so yeah it is pure 1050gph!I'm even thinking getting another one and use it as a wavemaker since it has the pulsating mode which is nice.Over all nice sturdy, well packaged, solid looking pump.
