Great for venison sausage.
Great flavor and spice. I don’t usually season 25 pounds at a time so I did a little math to season a pound and a half package to give this a try and it was very good. We did up some sausage for breakfast on a camping trip and our friends loved the taste. I actually used it to season some venison sausage and it worked great. I bought this with venison processing in mind for the upcoming season and I am happy with both the spice flavor and the package price. Will be recommending this product to my hunting friends and buying more in the future.

Makes better than store-bought sausage.
This is excellent seasoning. I make it in 1/2 pound batches. Only thing I do is I do add a little fennel seed. Will definitely buy this again.

My husband makes Venison Sausage every year. We experimented with at least a dozen recipes and finally landed on this mix. It's simple and it's consistently fantastic.

I guess I'm spoiled on good Southern breakfast sausage
This seasoning is okay, it's not all that zesty as some have stated, but it does have more than enough salt! I think the salt content could be cut back. There is so much salt I cannot really taste the other herbs. I added more sage to mine and still cannot really taste the sage. Zest is there, salt is there, other flavors not so much.I guess I'm spoiled on good Southern breakfast sausage.
