A must!
Awesome! I recommend freezing them separately in an even surface. Put them in right before treatment. I also recommend moving your fingers and toes as you feel if they are evenly cold. The point is not to let the chemo reach your hands and feet. So get them cold for as long as Taxol is getting in - ideally the whole 1 hour. Some days, it is too cold for me. So I rotate my position to make my hands and feet evenly frozen without getting frostbite. When I reach the point I can’t handle and it is too cold, I remove the mittens and socks only where I can’t handle the cold and just for a brief moment while they are still cold. I put them right back while still cold.God bless you on your treatment!

Prevent Neuropathy in hands and feet when receiving Chemo Therapy
Initially it was a little confusing as to where the ice packs are inserted into the socks, but with a little practice I found them easy to insert. They work very well.

Research Says Cold Therapy Works!! Nothing lost right?
Purchased as recommended by a member of my chemotherapy/cancer team. I figure nothing lost and maybe a lot to gain.A little cumbersome to wear during chemo, and I have to wear two pair of socks as my feet get quite cold! I still have some neuropathy from chemo but research has told me that cold therapy will reduce this side effect. My chemo lasts 3 1/2 hours of two different chemotherapy meds. Because of this we purchased two sets. We carry the ice packs in a small cooler.

Hate wearing them but good product
I really hate wearing these during chemo, but they are soft and easy for the nurse to put them on me.

Waste of money
These are great-in theory. They are difficult to assemble and put on. The cold pack only lasts for 20 min. My chemotherapy infusion is 3 hours long. It ended up being easier to use bags of ice provided by the hospital. This was a waste of money

Doctor receommded!
A friend asked me to purchase this for her Aunt. The Aunt's doctor suggested this product by name. I would think that if the doctor is recommending this product, it must be pretty good :)
