I have installed a couple of these over the years and by far this is the best. It is a box construction, which means the surface sits almost a quarter inch off the back wall. The construction gives it rigidity, but also protects the wall itself from heat much better than the flat sheets that sit right against the wall, and will often take on the shape of the wall and often look flat. I would buy this again and recommend it to all those who look for similar.

We love the product, it work great and is absolutely beautiful!But we have a unique kitchen set up and I knew when I ordered it, it would be too tall for the available space we had, so I had to cut and modify the product to fit our needs!I wish it came in different sizes. The standard oven width is fine but I wish the height could be custom ordered.

This one is a beast! I chose it because all 4 sides were folded, enhancing the structural integrity. The gauge of the material is substantial, compared to others. This one cost just a little more, but was well worth the few extra dollars. I looked at the other available stainless backsplashes and they were all flat panels that generally required additional drilling of holes and screws to avoid waves. Not this one.One corner did arrive bent but a set of Pliers made quick work of flattening it out. That corner wasn’t going to be visible anyway, since I positioned it behind the stove.Forget about using the included drywall screws. I doubt they would keep the backsplash in place for long without shifting. This thing isn’t heavy, but it’s heavy enough not to be trusted with anything but anchored fasteners for a tight, secure fit.

Looks great. Only drawback is that the top screws are visible. Maybe the backing is intended to be installed behind a microwave.

Our new oven has a top flush with the countertop and no “backsplash” part. You could see the horrible paint job that used to be behind the old stove top. My husband wanted this piece. I thought it would look weird. I have to say, he was right (we wrote it down to document for later, haha). It looks really good and I’m glad we bought it.

The copper finish is beautiful and realistic. People will ask if it's actual copper. However being stainless steel it will be impervious to rusting should the coating get scratched away. So in terms of material choice I think this product is ideal and high quality.As 20 gauge steel it is also stiff and strong. It should resist denting quite well. I like the design that by making a 90 degree bend on all four sides, stiffens the product, and creates an air gap between the product and the wall behind it. The air gap should keep heat away from the wall in the event of a grease fire.The dimensions are slightly less than 24 x 30 inches (check the photos). If you want to hide the two screwing strips behind cabinets then your effective width (height) is only 22 1/16.The provided screws are very small. For many situations the homeowner will want to substitute more robust screws, for example if you cannot screw into studs and need to use wallboard anchors.This is an excellent product for home use. It is highly attractive and durable. Be advised though that this stainless steel is nowhere near as thick or as impervious to abuse as the stainless steel fixtures you find in commercial kitchens.

The design is confusing. One side has a powdery finish that is easy to scratch, but this side seems most intuitive to use facing outward so that the lip can be flush with the wall. The other side has a more glossy finish which seems more scrubbable but why would i want to have to clean out the nooks and crannies/have the fasteners not be flush with the wall? Im certain that its not supposed to go that way but why then have such a delicate finish????
