It works and the quality looks ok.There is no test pattern when the input is missing, which maybe a disadvantage to some.I am using it on a black and white HD SDI signal and it works fine. i did think it might have issues with the signal.

I was very pleased to receive this SDI to HDMI Converter, at the time I received it, it was priced at £37.99 and I consider this to be good value for money. It was well packaged.This is an ideal product for my needs - I have an old Camera which the supplied lead has a BNC male at the feed end. For years now I've wanted to easily convert my old movies to digital files and now I can. I've simply plugged my camera into the convertor and by using a media a video capture device am able to produce a digital file compatible with most TVs and video players.I recommend this product.

Used this to capture some old footage from a twenty year old video camera of my now adult son. The process was simple, the converter is of excellent quality and worked perfectly.It was amazing seeing this footage after so long. A great little item that can help bring old tech to life. Recommended.
