I used a talent cell and it fit the holder.i mounted the holder to a tripod leg.

Great battery holder
I have a few large lithium batteries I use when doing astrophotography. It holds them fine without issue on my tripods.

Very big and useful
I like the pouch. It could accomodate many things like remote shutter release, batteries, etc.

Battery now has a home
Adjusted the straps as instructed. It now hugs the leg very secure. Plus the tripod is still functional. You can claps it without removing. So that's a plus.
