These were a very pleasant surprise for the price. I got the wolf and they look great. Only concern I have is durability in harsh outdoors conditions. So far, I keep them on the 1911 except when I go outside to shoot. For that I install the original poly grips. I know, silly. Guess I should get a second set :<)

Bought the Wolf pattern for my Rock Island 1911A1 FS Tactical .45Really like the way they look and feel on my pistol, not a lot of people are fans of thick wood grips, but I like them because it's not an EDC gun. Did have to do some minor filing on the top of the left grip panel because my thumb safety is long and dips down, super quick and easy fix and after a dab of boiled linseed oil you can even tell.

Color and fit are fine. Good quality. Grips are a little thick and the texture is rough. Get what you pay for I guess.

I like wolves and just got a new 1911. The original grips were basic solid black grips, but I train wolves and dogs, so to find these grips at such a low price was great. They were also super easy to put on.

Theses things are great but I did need to modify for fit on a RIA 1911! But I just sanded the top to fit andthen stained it to match and Bingo! The Holes did line up fine!

I love this full size grip. I have a turkish clone of the 1911 and I did have to file down the safety part a little to ensure I can switch it on and off. Other then that - it is spot on and perfect. I did rub it with some linseed oil to help protect it a bit - but the quality of the wood and the grips is very nice. I am very happy with this 100% and have to tell you to just go for it.Recommended for all 1911 users - I love it!

I picked up the Patriotic Eagle grips for my first 1911, a Tisas. Yeah it's a Turkish gun technically but it's a American design so it's a American gun. These add a nice change over the plastic and rubber grips that came with the gun. To preserve the wood better I did go ahead and put mineral oil on the wood to protect it. These grips are little thick since they are wood but feel solid in the hand. Smaller hands may want a slim grip.

Looks good, but have some crisp, somewhat pointed edges. I assume after I run a few hundred more rounds through, will smooth out a little.. they fit well on my colt..people have commented in the look.. the love them.
