This is the cutest cake mold for summertime. The cake pops out of the silicone super easily, and cleaning it is a breeze. We like to make a boxed yellow cake mix (or your favorite homemade!) and drizzle it with honey. Served with a tall glass of icy lemonade, these little hexi-block honeycomb cake bites are delicious!

I have a wonderful recipe for spiced honey cake and wanted the cake mold to go with it, but the metal pan was very expenive. I bought one of these and it works great. The only drawback is that it's about half the volume of the orignal name brand version, so you may want to but two of these, which is still half the price of that metal pan. Then you will have two cakes for the price and work of one: put one in the freezer for when company comes and enjoy the other!

This was perfect for Rosh Hashannah to make our honey cake. Each piece breaks apart and has the crispy edges that just are perfection. The mold designs are also super cute. easy to wash in the dishwasher too

The mold did not come with instructions. Just had to guess as to how long to leave the soap in the mold. I learned on the first batch! After that I did not have a problem. It is very defined with the details of bees and honeycomb design, as far as sturdy, all silicon is very pliable so you have to be careful when moving it before the soap is set. Would recommend the mold.

Works great! There are also a good amount of molds so it doesn’t take nearly as long to make a lot.
