exactly what I wanted if for.
the package was surprisingly compact for all the shade cloth I got. I especially liked the grommets which made hanging the stuff easier -- but I would have liked them to be closer together. It is sold as a privacy screen. I am using it for a "hide the messy stuff" screen. There is no room for storing yard stuff in the garage. This is my low cost, money saving money to keep the garden stuff out of sight. For that reason, I like that it is plenty tall enough to do just that. I didn't need the full length. I will save the rest, possibly for a little potting shed.

Good product with not good zip ties
This was for me, a two person job. It helps to have someone holding the tension while it gets ziptied into place. We ended up doing five up top, five on the bottom to keep it relatively straight when we got to the end. We live in a windy area so we actually ended up getting a gromet kit and adding gromets along the side edges, that is where the pull is and we thought some extra help would, well, help. We CANNOT recommend the Zip ties that are included at all. Some snapped just trying to feed them around the upper fence pole. They are not long enough to actualy get a very good grip. We bought longer, more heavy duty ones and all went well, they are cheap to purchase. Having said all that, the material seems great so far, it is attractive and is doing what we hoped for - providing some privacy and keeping things from blowing into our yard. We ran 200 feet, so we had lots of time to evaluate it. Overall I believe it is worth it but those Zip ties mostly are a joke.

Acceptable purchase
First time purchase. Horizontal and vertical lengths were reasonably accurate and the quality of material was good. The only drawback was the tie raps provided by the manufacturer. The material used is not of the quality found on a better type of tie raps sold separately. The installation was easy, and the material's visibility obscured well.I will suggest that to secure the material to the bottom, use aluminum spikes nailed into the ground through the lower grommets.

Great quality and price
This shade cloth is a great price and qualityI got the 50 ft for $32 and I paid more than twice that amount for some I got last summer at a local store. The color is a nice shade of dark green. It blocks the wind yet allows a breeze.I put it up myself and tho it took some time it wasn't difficult. The way it blocks the sun is good and it's nice that you can see out but my neighbors can't see in. I recommend this product.

I'm a woman who installed this alone fighting against the wind. My neighbors now know I cuss alot.
Does the job, i did have a little issue with getting it to a privacy fence, the zip ties are not long enough to secure the screen to my fence. I ended up using some wire fasteners with nails that works okay. The screen folded oddly in the package, so to set it during a very windy cold day, I had to open all 50 ft in my house, and make sure to not step on the fabric. It is pretty sturdy.I installed the fence on a extremely windy day. I have a German Shepard and the neighbors have 2 pit bulls. They now don't notice eachother unless one can smell the other. So far after day one no rips from my German Shepard paws, the screen held up to the crazy winds right now. And the privacy is legit. I cannot see into my yard, and I cannot see out but maybe if there's bright lights shining from one side I think a small 1% bit of light comes through with the wooden privacy fence.I did end up buying 3 to surround my yard, as well as use excess (if any) to use as a lean to shade cover for the small pondI know how to use the mesh and make it reinforced with the materials I already have.I wouldn't dream of using this without the grommets already intact.I do wish there would be a way to reinforce the middle area at least every 10 feet or so. That would allow me to keep it taught while I attached the top and bottom, as well as keeping it level. Or maybe using a weighted bottom would be easier. The wind was not my friend while installing this.Grab a friend if you can have one assist in getting the screen leveled and held up while you anchor.

Exactly as expected . . . And happy!
My husband and I built a 7’ wrought iron fence around the entirety of our 8 acres in Houston, TX. When the City announced it was going to tear out the bridge on our street to replace it AND repave the street - I knew I didn’t want to look at their construction mess in the front of my home for more than a year.We are 380’ across the front property line. So purchased 8 of the 50’ x 5’ panels. Installed one at a time. The panels fit exactly between our bottom horizontal wrought iron railing and the top horizontal railing. While the ties that come with the product are too short to tie well around my 4”x4” posts - that did not deter me. I just purchased 500 18” ones from Amazon for $18.These panels have grommets on the top and bottom. I loosely tie the top grommets carefully without PULLING the panel as I went. You need it to fit just right so that the bottom grommet lines up with the top grommet. Some reviewers have complained about ripping - and you can clearly see from their pictures that they were PULLING the panel. You cannot stretch it that way without expecting it to tear. While it’s not delicate - it is made to fit the space. After I tied the top of one panel - I would go back and tie the bottom. Not difficult to do. Just takes some time to do it right. For the price - this was the best option for us. I did 380 linear feet of fence line for less than $350. And I am 65 years old. Since this construction product is supposed to last for more than a year - I installed a panel at a time making certain I had the proper amount of time to installed correctly. Once I got the hang of it with the first panel - the 2nd through 8th went faster.Once the construction project is done - I have already decided that since we love the added privacy - I am going to uninstall each panel (one at a time) and thread it through the vertical rails for a permanent look.So happy I found these panels which I received in 2 days from order date. So all 8 panels were installed prior to construction beginning.
