No grit no discenrable flavor.
Tried this in some beef stock to make gravy. Used about 2 tsp for 3 cups of stock. Thickened it nicely. Took a LOT of whisking to get it dissolved completely. Having said that, there was no grit and it did not alter any flavor. I did, however, buy and immersion blender for the next time I use it.

I made the right choice, this works as advertised! A little goes a long way, so my hubby and I expect this to last us a while. I bought this for my hubby to make homemade ice creams for us. Very creamy ice cream! I posted a photo of creamy strawberry ice cream we made.

Doesn’t set as well, but still good value
I use this for mushroom cultivation. It’s a good price but doesn’t set up as well as another more expensive brand I’ve used in the past. I compensate by adding an extra gram per pint of agar mixture
