A Very Nice Walking Stick
I have a bad back and walking can, at times, be quite problematic. This Brazos 55” Twisted Trail Blazer Handcrafted Walking Stick originally caught my attention because of the way the grain of the wood looked, and I appreciated the spiraling design. It is sturdily constructed and, additionally, is functional in assisting my mobility. But what really surprised me is how many complete strangers, while I am walking down the street, will compliment me for my walking stick. It was originally a little bit expensive for me, but about two weeks later I went back to my browsing history and saw that it was about 30% off. Plus I am an Amazon Prime subscriber so with the free delivery and the additional 30% off it was right in my wheelhouse (financially).

Sturdy and Practical
Purchased to use in lieu of a cane post hip surgery. It keeps one upright and steady. It’s practical, sturdy, and has a comfortable grip.

Good for a morning walk or a longer hike.
I like the hight and the weight, it just feels right. The twist makes it look better, you may say elevated from the average walking stick, and if you hand slips for any reason it allows you to regain your grip on it.

Color A Little Off
The color was a little more red than I had expected. I took this out to a Ren Fest multiple times and the finish in it has chipped off in some places. I got it to help me walk and it was nice to have something this sturdy to lean on. Overall, I have been happy with it and will continue to use it on many more outdoor adventures.

Great workmanship
I developed nerve damage in my left foot - likely from treatments for sciatica. Suddenly, I need a cane. Oops. Not tall enough. I was bending over and finally fell. These work for me, and I can walk and stand with them daily, depending on the severity of the balance problem!

The height, weight and sturdiness makes this a great walking stick for me. I'm tall so it works well.

A costume prop that could serve a real-life purpose.
Used for a "Traveler / Adventurer" outfit for Announcing at Destination Imagination Tournaments. It looks real from close up and at a distance. It is sturdy, solid, and has a rubber foot cap at the bottom. The strap appears to be genuine leather. The knarled look lends a nice mix of "real" and "imaginary" to it. The most expensive part of my outfit, but well worth its contribution to the appearance. This thing could easily be an outdoor walking stick for urban surfaces as well as well packed trails.

Love this walking stick, not too light, nor too heavy, great quality, just perfect to walk and keep good balance.
