What a great idea--making disposable plates I out of palm fronds. These are much sturdier than paper, plastic or Styrofoam. They are almost as strong as china plates and do not harm the environment. Great for entertaining large getogethers--no more guests spilling food on themselves from flimsy plates, or lengthy cleanup after the party's over.

I chose these plates over some other options because the size is perfect for an outdoor brunch with bagels and some nibbles. More food than the 6” cocktail plates but smaller than a 10” dinner plate. I wanted something environmentally friendly. These are sturdy enough that one plate is enough.
