Very durable protection for my battery pack build
Durable and easy to use. The only issue I had was in buying the correct size. This was the first battery pack for me and I was uncertain on its configuration so I guessed at the size. That's on me not the product.

Fits 4” PVC Perfectly!
I used it to wrap the glued seal on each connection in my downspout drainage.

Shrinks well
I built a 21700 pack with it and it was really easy to use and shrink. Haven't had any issues with it to far.

Decent heatshrink, on the thin side
I got this PVC heat shrink to use for some smaller batteries that I build, and it's pretty much the same as the stuff I've gotten on Aliexpress before, just much more convenient. This blue PVC heatshrink is not really comparable to the clear stuff - the clear stuff seems to be a lot thicker, despite also being PVC. Also, for this blue kind, you don't need to use as much heat because it heats up a lot faster. It's pretty easy to mess up and poke sharp objects through while shrinking.Shrink factor seems pretty good on it, but it's a bit small (I got 150mm) so I'll only be using it for very specific packs I build. Also, keep in mind that you want to get heat-shrink that's probably 1.5 to 2x the size, since this heat-shrink is measured flat, you have to take into account the height of your battery pack as well.

Shrinks more than standard heat shrink tubing
I just got this, and HAD to try it out right away. I cut about an inch off the end and wrapped it around a bunch of D batteries to test it out. I used a small heat gun, deciding on a more gradual approach than a quick fast shrink wrap. My gradual approach worked great as it slowly conformed to the outside dimensions of my group of D batteries. It cools instantly, and when done leaves a nice hard tight plastic wrap. I love this stuff! I can now think of many other uses not only in the electronic bench here, but also in the woodshop in the basement. This version of it is 8 inches wide, which is perhaps too large for some applications, but they make different sizes. It shrinks to little less than half it's original size under the heat gun. At one point I tired to use a lighter to shrink a piece of it, and that didn't work well. There is too much heat concentrated in one spot and therefor it doesn't shrink consistently. A heat gun, giving off a nice flow of heat not necessarily concentrated in too small of an area worked perfectly, I can envision this to be very handy addition to my workbench here, and give it a full five stars.

Sturdy, Strong, Better than the competition
When I originally ordered this was hoping to fix a few 18650 lithium batteries where the outside battery stick was damaged and wearing out from physical abuse. This wrap that arrived is way better then what I imagined. The wrap shrinks down to about 80-85% of its original size form a nice tight wrap without an insane amount of heat. You probably could get it to shrink even further for more heat and patience but heat is the #1 enemy of Lion batteries as it changes the chemistry and damages the capacity. The wrap is super good for DIY battery blocks where you can buy a bunch of batteries and run them in parallel to customize your voltage and current needs.I highly recommend this product for DIY projects and just replacing worn labels on existing batteries!
