If I were using it for a driveway, I'd probably cement it into place.Cons: I tried PVC glue but it doesn't seem to really work like it should. Probably "user error"lolI did not try silicon caulk.. I just wanted to get the trench into the ground & not get messy.The reality is, you do not really need anything to connect the pieces together.. it fits just fine.Suggestions to manufacture: It is lightweight: meaning.. when I installed it & used a garden hose to test it out, the water flowed over the units & had gone underneath of the entire trench & floated it. I ended up drilling two holes per section & staked it with 12 inch stakes into the ground to hold it into place. This worked fine.Would I buy again or as a gift? YesDid I receive anything for this review? NO! I paid full price for this item.

Works good, very easy to install, to connect them together.

The flange clips that allow the trench sections to be linked together are annoyingly cheap, and so it is easy to imagine breaking them while attempting to assemble the thing. I did not, but one could, I imagine. The attachments for the ends are also a little bit obnoxious. Anything you join has to be sealed in order to ensure that it's actually watertight, which seems like a pretty basic thing that could be easily fixed at the design phase of making this product. It was, however, rather cheap, so I am not complaining too much.

I was looking for a drain large enough that it could handle a lot of water run off. This is it !!It is very heavy duty both the bottom portion and metal drain cover.The slots are large and plenty of them to capture all the water.It connects together very easily on it's own and has the end cap, and an end to connect to a 4" drain pipe.I ordered the extra 4 way connection piece to make a "T". It can do a 3 way or a 4 way connection.Plus it looks very nice and professional.I had questions on the parts and the response time back was within the hour !!!Super Service all around which is why I wanted to write this review and show the pics of the project.It butted up very tightly to the loose rocks, carpet and the pavers. !!Highly recommend this for any drain project. Better to go large than to be too small !

Didn’t work in my situation

The idea is good but the connections break easily and a not all that secure. End caps should snap on. The silicone glue isn’t strong enough to hold them on as you manipulate then into the ditch.

The durable drain system, I am using only where there is occasional foot traffic. Well made and good for the money. I installed with 2 ft rebar... 4 per section, Quickcrete and side discharge to keep as high as possible to drain water into existing tile. I wish I could have had the option to buy 2 sections only

These worked out well in the end. Here’s one IMPORTANT tip. If you are setting these in cement, the grates cannot be removed once the sides are set in hardened cement. This is due to the little tabs along the sides of each grate. The base needs to flex outward to release these tabs, which is impossible in a rigid cement installation.Luckily I realized this with only two sections fully grouted in. My solution was to dremel off each and every tab (a big job). I finally also got the two stuck grates off too by carefully plunge cutting each tab with a cutoff disk using the dremel (really delicate and difficult).Still once finished the grates have held up so far and seem to work well.

We were on an impossible deadline due to a late addition to the project and no material being available from our suppliers. Searched, found and ordered for next day delivery. We ended up only using one of the 3 sections and the store was extremely happy with the install. AMAZON TO THE RESCUE!!!!!!!!! Thanks

Faite attention au grandeur pour être sur que cela fit matériaux très robuste tellement que couper la moitié pour que l'eau passe est très difficile a coupé sinon fit parfaitement

Need a stronger grating system.
