I needed something to move my AA touchscreen up out of the sight of my back up cam and main radio screen. My previous holder was attached to dashboard and not stable. This holder does stay firm and not shaky as attached to the CD slot. I was doubtful that it would hold being in this slot beforehand, but I am pleasantly surprised. The construction is hard plastic and not flimsy. The bottom screw to tighten want to es drop down a little in the view of the car's radio/cam screen but not so much to block the screen. I did not to the trouble of adding a backup screen to the AA when my car had that already. Now, I have wireless AA and able to see my back up cam. Also, noteworthy, this not being a then tablet, the clamps still hold well enough on the AA that it will not fall. It has a tight tension on the brackets. I do not think there should be any problems as long as I am not off roading and banging over huge rocks. So far so good as they say.

This is a welcome find! I’ve tried several other phone holders before that have been less-than-promised. This one is stable and secure with my phone and my iPad and both have cases. My only “heads up” is pretty obvious: It blocks the radio controls.Since my Silverado truck has radio controls on the steering wheel, i’s no big deal, except that the clock is also blocked. Very happy and will probably be ordering another one for my other truck if I can add the steering wheel controls to it.

Exactly what I was looking for. Good quality, great adjustability, firm hold. Pixel fold.

The media could not be loaded. This product deserves 4.5 stars but Amazon doesn’t allow half stars. It is surprisingly very stable for how big an iPad is. It was very easy to set up. I didn’t even need instructions because there were only 2 pieces and it was self explanatory.The only issue I had with it was I have a large iPad (12.9 inch) and it didn’t fit on the mount with the case I had on the iPad so I had to take off the case in order for it to fit on the mount. The case I had was similar to an otter box case so maybe if I had a thinner case it might have fit on the mount or if I had a smaller size iPad with a case possibly.This isn’t a complaint but a suggestion, it’d be nice if it had some kind of quick release way to adjust the height of the mount with one hand. Overall it’s a fantastic mount and I’d be surprised if you found another one this stable and easy to set up.

This product is brilliant. I have a Z fold 5 and I could never find a decent holder for the size and position. I tried the cup holder holder and it was a joke. Bouncing around and just not in a great spot, let a lone you loose a drink holder spot. Considering the fact that most of us do not even use the CD player anymore, this product really shines. It slides right into the CD slot and then you twist a nut to expand base to secure inside.

Worked perfect to hold my tablet to show the map on a long road trip without blocking the air vents. Solid enough to be able to operate the tablet while it is in the holder.

This is the kind of mount that I really wanted. I had the cup holder mount but my cousin broke it. It was kind of intrusive so she actually did me a favor because I was able to get the mount that I really wanted and regained my cup holder back. Love this and seems to be sturdy.
