Der Stoff wird zusammengefaltet geliefert, er ist auf einer Seite mit einer gummieartigen Schicht überzogen. Das ist wahrscheinlich auch der Grund, warum er am Anfang etwas chemisch riecht, das verfliegt aber mit der Zeit. Die andere Seite hat eine etwas gröbere Stoffstruktur. Der Stoff lässt sich gut zurecht schneiden. Etwas störend sind die starken Falten, ich hoffe, dass die sich mit der Zeit glätten.

Good colour and sturdy outdoor fabric
This is a good, strong waterproof canvas. The face is a smart-looking textured olive green, and the back has a thick-feeling clear waterproof coating. The 1mx150m size I’ve received should be enough to recover the cushion for our garden seat (which currently has a rather ugly, snot-green fabric outer). One edge of the fabric I received is raw and fraying a bit before the waterproof backing, which doesn’t reach quite to the end, kicks in - but this should be fine once made up. This is quite a thick, tough fabric, so I’m planning to use a jeans needle and roller foot on my sewing machine to handle this.
