My error in purchasing

Used for repaing a friend's aran sweater. Good texture.

I love this yarn especially the brand. The color is true to the picture. It is not very soft and anyone with sensory issues may not like it. (If you want something soft I would recommend this brand’s cashmere yarn). It is also a little lighter weight than I thought. I made a sweater out of it with a 5mm crochet hook and it looks great. I would consider this a light or medium weight yarn. All around this yarn is fantastic. I especially like that it is truly 100% wool and doesn’t have anything synthetic. Fantastic yarn but not for beginner crocheters.

I ordered the green wool yarn from this same brand and it was amazing. I made a beanie for my husband and my father-in-law and they both love them and wear them all the time. So I ordered this blue yarn. It is much more itchy than the other wool yarn. I'm halfway through making a beanie for my dad but I can already feel there's a huge difference. I may have to try to fleece line this one otherwise it may be too itchy for my dad to actually wear. A little disappointed with it considering how much it cost for this yarn. Not sure why this would feel so different than the green yarn.

Gisimo 100% Merino Wool Yarn, 3-Ply Luxurious and Soft Yarn, I am using the mend wool socks, I have also bought in beige. Perfect! Will buy again when I run out.
