All the fluff and none of the starch
I trust the Cosori brand and needed a rice cooker to replace our existing, one-button standalone cooker which aside from spilling over with starchy fluid, (even after thoroughly washing the rice), mostly kept a layer of crust on the bottom of the inner pan.The touch-sensitive control panel on the Cosori appears daunting at first but is simple to use. Two taps and my white, long-grain rice started to cook. The device took 43 minutes to cook the rice (2 cups) and I left it for a further 1 hour on auto-warm. This is a much longer period than my previous rice cooker, which took 10 minutes plus 10 minutes to steam dry. However, the results were nothing short of incredible. The Cosori produced completely separated, starch-free and non-clumping rice, cooked to restaurant quality perfection. Spooning out the rice left no residue in the pot and the cleaning took minutes. We haven’t tried any of the other functionalities, (steaming, sautéing, baking and others), but I am confident that the Cosori will perfectly cook anything you can chuck in it.Dare I say our best kitchen gadget yet.

Great quality and good value for money.
The brand is very good quality. I’ve a couple of other appliances. The steamer is really good, cooked a cauliflower the other day, very easy and steamed nicely. It does rice (brown and white) very well, but be aware it can take just short of an hour, so plan ahead. The keep warm is very good too.The appliance is fully automatic, with a very easy to use digital interface. The lid is designed to absorb the steam, so no water leaks and low emissions. It’s more than just a rice cooker, so has some other uses and so is quite versatile.

Best rice and Quinoa cooker I've ever used.
Best rice cooker I have used so far . You need to adjust your own receipe, rice type , rice texture you want ,water ratio and timer rather than follow the exact guide or template it has . When time is up, please check the rice. If rice is less cooked than your preference, the put the lid on and leave it 20 minutes or so while power is off.

Not Quite Perfect.
So COSORI is a company based in California that also has its own base in the UK and other countries. They are becoming more well known in recent times for producing high quality air fryers. This item is along the same lines offering good quality at a more than fair price. There are plenty of similar products from other manufacturers that cost twice as much that are either on par or less good.Pros: It looks way better in person than it does in pictures. The touch screen is extremely high quality with perfect responsiveness and darkens to a single "start" light when in standby. The silicone spatula, ladle, and measuring cup are all must have items and the recipe book is a nice bonus.Cons: No pressure cook option so times are a little slower than they could be with something like a vastly more expensive Ninja. Timers are either pre-set or manual and once they are set they cannot be adjusted "on the fly". Keep warm function means there is no way to set this machine to auto off.Despite some very minor gripes this item does exactly what it says on the tin. I find the longest time (short grain) to work best with medium (like Thai jasmine) as well as short grain and the "Quick" option to work best for long grain rice. 35mins is hardly quick but it's good enough. Soups steamed veg and slow cooked dishes containing ground, cubed, or sliced meats all work well. I have not tried the saute option yet. The unit itself is about the size of an average single drawer air fryer. For what it costs it represents very good value but I wouldn't have minded paying a little extra to iron out one or two of the kinks in that cons list. This said, overall I am very happy and there is no danger of this being a rarely used "gadget". Between this, my air fryer, and microwave there is hardly any use for either stove or hob now.

Great design
Bought this to replace my old Tefal multicooker which happens to still be alive and well but doesn't have a sear function. This unit has one and it works brilliantly. I've had it four days and I've used the sear, steam and soup functions so far and all have been excellent. Cheats tip for spaghetti in 12 mins: Add desired amount of linguine to pot, add salt and a dash of oil (which prevents foaming). Add 1250 ml of boiling water to the pot push softening pasta under the water, close lid and set it to steam for 12 mins. Give it a stir after 6 mins. The entire cooking time inc preheat is approx 15 mins and delivers perfectly cooked linguine. Drop cook time to 11 mins for spaghetti.

accumulation of dirt and mold inside the pan
At first I was very pleased, she coped with her tasks perfectly. But now it's terrible. Previously, he cooked chickpeas perfectly, but now they remain just as hard. Then there are grooves in which food debris gets stuck and it is impossible to clean them on the inside of the pan. Thus, mold and other harmful things accumulate there. I don't use this anymore and have switched to a regular stainless pan. This is definitely not worth the money, I would like to return it, but unfortunately the 1 month period for return has expired and for 3 months I have not had any complaints. In general, I don't recommend it.

Bought it to make sushi rice - brilliant!
My primary purpose for buying this product is for sushi (white, short grain) rice. This was my first attempt at making sushi and I had come to know beforehand that getting the rice right is the most important thing and the Cosori rice cooker didn’t let me down. It was easy to setup and the instruction booklet was easy to follow in relation to settings for the rice and the portions of rice to water. The rice came out as well as I could have ever hoped for; anyone who has reviewed negatively about mushy rice etc probably didn’t prepare the rice well (e.g., washing first, draining properly and using the right portions of water). There are of course a few things about the user interface that I could gripe about but these can be ignored once you’re familiar with its nuances. I look forward to using it for things other than sushi rice.
