great accessory for the older radios, it is nice to be able to charge from any USB-c cord and not carry around an extra cord and adapter.

If you have a UV-5R, you need these. They more than double your battery life and with USB-C charging, they allow you to use the most common charging format available. These fit flawlessly in my UV-5R and I am even considering purchasing more. I purchased these through ABBREE and due to my experience with this product, I am looking forward to checking out more of their products.

Works as intended, took them out into the rain and it kept my radio running fine the entire time

First off, I love the fact that I am now able to charge my radios (I currently have 2) just about anywhere without having to have my AC chargers, but still have the option to. I can charge in my car or even with my portable power bank. They are as easy to add as the regular battery and are very much worth the investment. Secondly, I like that they have give length to the radios, so that they don't feel so small when holding them, more to hold on to. I am very pleased with the purchase and will definitely buy more if I purchase more Baofeng UV-5R radios.

I bought the two-pack of BL-5 3800mAh extended batteries for my BTECH UV-5X3. The batteries have a long life and charge quickly on the radio drop-in charger or the USB-C connection on the battery. The batteries slid onto the radio and locked into place properly; however, the feet (stand-offs) on the bottom of the battery were too long compared to the OEM feet on the radio side. This caused the radio to tip over when placed on a flat surface. I had to file down the battery side feet so the radio wouldn't fall over on my counter.

Seem to work fine. Original battery or maybe the charger quit working. Wasn't really sure as the original battery only could be charged on the base. These solved the problem since they can be charged with USB C. Fit the radio perfectly. This way I have a backup battery and can charge the radio virtually anywhere.

Work great holds a charge way longer than the original definitely recommend

I was looking for a way to boost the battery life of my UV-5R Radio, and these did the trick! I also like that I can charge them with USB instead of the bulky cradle, but the cradle still works with these. Really versatile, I really like these batteries.
