Rock tumbler grit
This tumbler from kit worked great. I have been tumbling rocks and crystals for a few years now and am impressed with how smooth and shiny they come out. You get a foot amount of grit in each container that is labeled for ease of use.

Fantastic product!
Product works great! Four stars because one of the containers was not labeled, but I was able to deduce which grit it was by elimination.

Great so far
The media could not be loaded. So far I’ve liked using this grit set for my rock tumbling. I am tumbling rocks from various lakes. So far so good. Here was my first set of rocks using the recommended timing, amount of grit, and etc in the rock tumbler. I did not remember to do the soap part at the end so it may have affected the results. I am currently working on the 2nd batch of rocks using this powder and I am currently on cycle 3. I used the ceramic pieces this time as well as left some cycles in longer than the suggested time. We will see how they differ compared to the suggested. (Will update if there is a change and I will remember to do the soap part)Overall, great quality for price. I love that it comes with all of the levels needed AND the ceramic pieces ! Such a great bargain / price for what you get!Perfect good quality grit for beginner or experienced rock tumbler enthusiasts! Great to give as a gift with a rock tumbler as like a starter set! As it has everything you need besides the rock tumbler and starts off by giving you smaller amounts so you can see if you like it.The actual size of the plastic jars are not too large. I felt they could be a little bigger. However, for a whole set like this I think it is okay. Otherwise, just buy the grit separately in the size you need more of when you need it. Like I always keep extra level 1 grit as you tend to need more of it than the other levels. This brand was also recommended by other people who rock tumbler and enter competitions for rocks, so I figured it would be a good bet. I was not disappointed.I will update this review if the 2nd batch turns out better than this 1st batch so you know! Although always base it on the rocks you are using and what they need to achieve maximum smoothness and shine!

Works Great
Works great. The course grits rounds and smoothies the stones in just a weeks time. The polishing compounds also do their job in a week. I have found that using an extra tablespoon than what is recommended produces shinier stones. Especially with the polishing compounds.

Good price, works well, easy to use
I have a national Geographic tumbler that came with 4 steps of polish powder. I read reviews saying that the polishing powder that comes with it doesn't get the stones shiny. So, after a lot of research, I went with this Polly Plastics one based on reviews and price. It did a good job polishing our stones! It did take two rounds (two weeks) with the final step to get them shiny though. The filler ceramic pieces were really helpful when the stones got smaller. Most kits don't include that, so that's another bonus for this set. Also, the containers are pretty big, so you get a lot of powder.

Tomorrows Promise
As a 92 year old man I find that quality rock polishing projects me into the future. Example. Grit one tumbling is not complete until next Monday, Grit 2 until a week from Monday, etc. The future hold promise for some beautiful gems.
