We needed a nice, bright, easy to read clock to sit on a shelf in our living room. It is nice, and it is very quiet.Just what we needed

It looks the same in person as it does on my screen. It's a really nice antique gold color and it looks stylish and of good quality. I love the easy-to-read numbers, and love that it has a seconds hand. It hangs on the wall securely. It's very quiet. The first one they sent had a defective clock movement mechanism (the box on the back that is the heart of the clock). I completely understand the nature of how things work and that sometimes you can get a defective piece. I don't hold that against a company or even a product. What matters is how the company handles it, and that the new one works as it should. When I started the return through Amazon, for the first time ever, I had the option to either return for a refund OR to exchange for a replacement. Wow, I loved that as I did like the clock and wanted to try a replacement. They sent the replacement, I sent back the broken one, and this new replacement works great. It's a win-win. I'd buy it again!

Item is as pictured. It’s a great classic look that is easy to read the time - even from far away. Setup was a breeze- just put the battery in. So far functionality is great- no issues. Given the other reviews reporting the clock stopped working, I do have concerns for longevity. I’ll come back and update my review if it stops working. Overall great value item for the money

This is my second of this clock. Both have failed miserably. The previous worked for about 18 months and then decided it would work when it felt it wanted. Visually it is very nice, but if it does not work, it kind of misses in it's intended function. So, I bought another as a replacement. This one was wonky out of the box....which unfortunately I had disposed of, so no means to return. Tremendously unfortunate as it is quite nice to look at, but I really need a clock that functions and is accurate more that two time a day.

Great clock! It is silent and keeps time perfectly and accurately! I have placed on a high bookshelf and is visible throughout the room. The design makes it easy to read.

I like the frame finish and also the size and clarity of the numbers, but buyers might want to be aware that the two hands – at least on the one I received – are the same size and therefore it sometimes makes telling the time at a glance a little tricky! The hour hand is just too long. I’ll probably keep it, but I’m not sure I would buy it again.

Bought this for my kitchen. Have had it for about one month. It keeps accurate time and has no noise that I can tell (might be drowned out by fridge). I also don't have a problem with telling time because the hands are close to the same length. I think your brain adjusts to it. All in all, very pleased with this purchase.Update: Changed rating to one star. Stopped working after less than 9 months. Too late to return. Update 2: Contacted the manufacturer who responded very quickly. He said that there is a 2-year warranty and to contact Amazon Customer Service. In the meantime I ordered another clock from a different company and left this clock on my dining room table without a battery. When the new clock arrived, I put a battery in it and just for fun, I put a battery back in this clock. It works! And no, I didn't put the battery in the wrong way. I tried the battery both ways before saying it didn't work. Go figure. Changed the rating back to 5 stars. Let's see how long it continues to run.
