Installed and worked as advertised

Fit my Kenmore Elite washer. Probably done 100 loads, no leaks.

Was of a rubber of a similar gage or better than OEM part that failed. Had a different bottom drain hose/output than our original part, but was able to make it work. Fit perfectly, very snug, but not too snug. Will update review if the part fails prematurely.

I bought the other cheap one on Amazon first. The side ports were too thin and didn’t seal on the connectors and then leaked.This one is much improved. Side ports are very thick, almost like the OEM one.Mine problem I had was that the left side hole wasn’t all the way open. I noticed when watching the jets during a full cycle that one was blasting and the other barely had any water. Opened it all up (again) and cut the outlet hole rubber to be an actual circle and then it worked great.

Had a hole in my old one and ordered this. Taking the old one off was a little tricky and getting the new one was too. You need a special tool to get the spring off and on that is around the washer door. Did 2 loads today after putting it and NO LEAKS. It's like new again. Good luck if you are changing this!

After replacing the old unit. I noticed that the drain hose from this unit is narrow and could get clog and cause the washer to smell bad. This is a manufacturer design issue not a part issue. If you have lint or something in your pockets, they could clog the drain line. If not draining correctly check the drain line and remove lint.

Would leave zero stars if possible didn't even last a year and already has a hole in it meaning we need to replace this part yet again. Don't waste your money trying to save money on this one buy the legitimate LG part.
