Good price - Good results!
I bought this for an early Japanese Aria Pro ll (Les Paul type) so I was pleasantly surprised to find this unit fitted fine. I had expected to have to modify it slightly. The original nut was easily removed and the Tusq dropped straight into place. It will need a little hardwood strip cosmetic infilling but works fine as it is (the infilling would probably not be necessary on genuine Les Pauls). String spacing was almost exactly the same as before. The Tusq nut radius was a near perfect match for the Aria neck, although a slight deepening of the centre two slots would achieve a slight improvement. The Tusq angles the string slots to point at the tuning pegs and this angle was very slightly overdone for the Aria layout, but still and improvement over a straight cut nut. Height adjustment with the Allen key is simple and enabled a lower action near the nut without buzzing than previously. A bonus is that different string gauges can be easily accommodated in future if required, and string slot wear compensated for. Upon refitting the original strings it was obvious that there was less friction in the nut as re-tuning was noticeably easier than before.Playing the instrument showed worthwhile improvements over and above the lower action: intonation was good between the open and first fret, there was less difference in tone between fretted and unfretted notes, and tuning stability was improved. All in all, if you feel confident with a little minor DIY surgery on your pride and joy, then the Tusq will improve any stock LP guitar for a very reasonable price. (Note - there are many different types available so check suitability for your guitar before you buy.)Highly recommended.Chaz.

Superb replacement…
Simple to install with a perfect fit. Can’t say for sure if the tone has improved but it’s much more stable regarding tuning and I like that the d and g strings are angled on the nut. 100% recommend….

Easy, cheap and quick! Get one before there ain't none.
Fitted straight on to a Gibson Les Paul Less Plus, brilliant replacement for the original brass, zero fret nut. It must have taken less than 10 mins and no sanding or cutting, just drop it in, set the height and tune up. Guitar now sounds great and plays a treat!

Worth the investment
Replaced my brass zero fret, It took seconds to fit and my 2015 Gibson SG standard with the fat neck and G-Force tuner tunes up in seconds now. Even the top E tunes fast. Worth the investment, I'm getting one to replace my titanium zero fret on my Les Paul.

OMG Fantastic
Used this on my 2015 Gibson Les Paul Studio Guitar that suffered from tuning problems with their "Zero Fret Nut" as being brass it wears, so replaced it with the Graphtech TUSQ XL Zero Fret Nut, unbelievable tuning stability. Worth every penny.Good job Amazon delivery too!

Does not fit Gibson Zero adjustable nuts on SG HP
I bought this after checking out the description on the Graphtech website which states that it is a direct replacement for Gibson Zero fret nuts. All I can say is that it did not fit my Gibson SG HP which has the standard Gibson Zero Nut fitted.I managed to get it to fit after a bit of filing but I am not sure if it is fitting correctly. The worst thing is that Amazon had it listed as a minimum order of 2, so I have two nuts that don't fit. I am going to see if I can return one of them.

If you own a 2015 Gibson Les Paul you must BUY THIS!
This replacement nut takes seconds fit and is so superior to the brass nut provided by Gibson.

Revolutionises tuning on the 2015 Les Paul
This revolutionised the tuning stability on my 2015 Les Paul standard - the brass zero fret had worn but the shaping has made the guitar so much more useable and, I believe, sound better.

Perfect fit replacement.
Unfortunately Gibson is very difficult about selling the zero fret nut for the 2015 guitars. This is a very good alternative and it fits perfectly and works equally well.
