The game is well made.
I enjoyed this game. Although I would reccomend playing it on Medium or Easy difficulty. 😅

Disappointing
One of the worst games I've ever played.Graphically it looks like it should have been released on PS1; camera control was generally bad during this era anyway, but the camera in this game is BAD; combat is not engaging in the slightest, and consists of just usually mashing one button; no progression system; controls are janky; voice acting is pretty poor; it is really short too (<5 hours), however I would say that is borderline a good thing as I probably wouldn't have finished it had it been longer.I would've given it just one star but it's LOTR so obviously the story is fair enough. Either go watch someone play it on YouTube, watch the movie or read the book instead.

You want more but its not bad
Maybe its the scale of the book and the film, maybe its the hype of recent years but you expect everything about the Lord of the Rings products to be first rate and this falls way short of expectations. But if you can forget the fact that it is Lord of the Ring based for a few minutes and consider it as just another game, it is really not that bad; it looks great, it plays well and the atmosphere is very endearing. Its biggest letdown is the fact that you breeze through the levels without ever really being chanllenged and the fact that you want more interaction with the environment.Initially taking the part of Frodo, you start the game in Hobbiton - a cute little village inhabited by hobbits. You are presented with a number of minor tasks to accomplish before leaving the village such as fixing a weather vane and finding some lost items for a fumbling hobbit. These are not challenging and are mainly tasks that accustom you to the controls. Soon enough you find yourself in a scrap and from that point, things get somewhat more sinister ...You will change characters a few times, giving you a little variety in the gameplay. The graphics are great, but as mentioned earlier the enviornment is often so good that you want to explore it and will find yourself feeling quite unfulfilled that you cannot open that interesting looking door or pick up any of those potential weapons that are lying around. It is definately worth a play, but dont expect to still be riveted to this game two weeks later, as you will have finished it long before then.Action 5/10Graphics 7/10Playability 6/10Atmosphere 5/10Lastability 3/10
