I purchased some several years ago and they still work for my kitchen cabinets, 1930s oven Doors and keeps my recipes on the side of my refrigerator and I gave some to my Grandson's, but with this purchase they are very noticeably stronger and I removed the old ones and replaced with these, these are dark and the others are silver and they do show, we painted the old Oak in 2 different shades of blue gray. I put 2 each on my cabinets because mice can get in, and in this neighborhood we all have mice, we live in a farming town and at the end of harvest where are the mice going when the food sources are gone and it's cold 🥶 to my house. They can't get the cabinets open when you have them locked with something and these are better and cheaper than baby lockouts and they work better. I will from now on purchase from this brand. You could come up with uses for them. Super strong, dark colored so their not so noticeable on my cabinet doors and front edge, they are kinda hard to separate so I took a butter knife and pulled them apart, I didn't want to break my nails off, and they hold very very tight. I highly recommend them they're fantastic 👏

Very powerful magnets. Be careful, can pinch hard! Can destroy phones and other devices, so be careful.I tried playing with them and got pinched so hard so many times I gave up playing with them. They can break your fingernails trying to pry them off flat surfaces. If you plan to let them stick to something make sure you put a way to get the back off again. Once they clamp on they are on!

The media could not be loaded. My mailbox's plastic latch finally broke after 20 years in the sun -- so my mailbox door stayed open displaying my mail to the neighborhood. I put 3 magnets on the left, and 3 on the right, just inside the opening (1 at the bottom, and 2 layered up top, on both sides). I found that's the right amount of magnetic force to keep the mailbox door shut, but still easy to open.The magnets actually sit flush with the lip of the opening, and the black coating gives them a smooth rust-free surface, so I don't have to worry about them getting knocked out or scratching anyone's hands.They've been in there for months now, with freezing temps, rainy days, and blistering heat, with no sign of wear or movement, and still going strong, keeping my mailbox door closed. I bought extras and fixed a couple neighbors' mailboxes that had the same problem.

Super strong. Worked perfectly for my application except I had to use industrial glue to attach them to the wood surface, and the foam tape was too weak to hold them on.

I bought an attachable condiment tray for my new grill cart, but the screw on brackets didn’t fit my grill. These magnets were a lot smaller than I expected, but manno do they work! I spaced them evenly across the back and that tray isn’t going anywhere! Now I can easily move the tray around depending where I need it without hassling with screwing and unscrewing the brackets.

These magnets work really well for various craft projects. They are strong enough to hold small items in place and are easy to incorporate into different DIY ideas. However, they are smaller than I expected, and they can break quite easily if not handled with care. Because of their size and fragility, they might not be ideal for projects that require a larger surface area or a stronger, more durable hold. They're very strong, just like everyone says. I bought them to hold a small calendar on my fridge, and they're perfect for that. The calendar flips through the months with a metal coil hinge/binder, and through the coil is a thin metal rod with a dent/curve at the center, so that you can hook the curve over a nail to hang the calendar. Well, my first idea was to just hold the calendar in place near the top of the calendar though the paper, but since these magnets are so strong, of course it was attracted to the metal coil and rod. So, as it turned out, all I had to do was just put the magnet strait on the fridge, and then magically put the calendar's thin rod thing directly on the magnet --and it held. Now, to flip to a new month with my calendar, all I have to do is pull off the calendar, flip to the next month, and return the calendar to the magnet --so easy!!! In the past I had to remove four weaker magnets I had holding the calendar. These magnets are so much better!!! I have the rest (five remaining) stacked together, also on my fridge, and they hold a pair of curved embroidery scissors which I keep handy on the fridge, for removing loose threads and cutting off labels of cloth items deep into the seam. Stacking the magnets five deep like that works well to keep the curved pointed tip of the scissors from digging into and scratching the fridge when I remove the scissors from the magnet.So, that wiped out my entire pack of six magnets for those two purposes, but these are such great magnets that I'm contemplating buying more for other uses. I also like how they look so much nicer on my fridge than the big black magnets I used to have, since these ones are smaller and prettier with their shininess. On the fridge, they have a minimal aesthetic, and match well with my other stainless steel "pushpin" magnets. I highly recommend these workhorses which every household needs!!!

Magnets are super magnetic but do chip easily. The adhesive backing is far weaker than the magnetic, so all of mine fell after the first day. Plan to buy a different adhesive.
