Excellent
Fit my spotting scope perfectly. It was in constant use during the eclipse. The sunspots and corona (without the filter) were the highlight. My scope has a cell phone adapter and numerous photo were taken through the filter

I got good pictures of the partial eclipse
IO was able to get good pictures of the partial eclipse here.

You get what you pay for
This filter didn't fit my telescope (my error) but worked for my camera. Aside from that it's a bit cheap. The film wasn't stretched very well and is full of wrinkles, so I didn't get very good image quality. If you want something nice, spend the money for a higher quality brand.

Useless Solar Filter, Lets no visible light through. UPDATE: Full refund provided quickly
Testing this filter 3 months after purchase, found that ABSOLUTELY ZERO VISIBLE light can pass through the TWO sheets of protective film that I found in this one. Now to fix myself with only ONE protective film. If you purchase this filter, test right away, I waited too long....UPDATE: Seller made this right with full refund within 24 hrs of posting review.

Does not fit
It is exactly the same size as my telescope, which has a 70mm aperture. It's supposed to fit a 70mm aperture but it doesn't.

El artículo venía defectuoso con agujeros, lo que representa la imposibilidad de utilización para la observación solar. Es lamentable que el artículo no tenga la protección requerida para salvaguardar la integridad de este dispositivo, tan importante en la observación del sol.Actualización: Ante la situación presentada, Astromanía se puso en contacto para resolver el problema, enviando un filtro nuevo. La atención al cliente ha sido excelente y se agradece mucho.Adjunto un par de fotos tomadas con el filtro

Accesorio indispensable para tomar fotos a eclipses o al sol directamente
Compré este filtro para usarlo en mi cámara full frame durante el eclipse de 2024.Los tornillos si bien se sujetaron a mi lente, al tener una punta de plástico se resbalaba lo que podría ocasionar que el filtro se dañe.No distorsiona la imagen, y con él se es capaz de capturar manchas solares sin dificultad.Sin duda un accesorio indispensable para tomar fotos en eclipses, o directamente al sol sin dañar tu equipo fotográfico.
