I own an art gallery and these are the best easels I have. I bought a few different brands and these are by far the best ones.The adjust height very easily and are very sturdy even with larger paintings.

This easel was simple to assemble - I'm quite small and was able to assemble myself within an hour. A beautiful easel with a lovely dark finish (it's not easy to find a black easel!). Excellent quality and easy to move. I'm one happy artist with this purchase! :)

This is a spectacular, stylish, solid easel that's heavy enough to use in my studio, even for painting very large canvases.It's also sleek and elegant enough to use as a display easel, and it'll accent any work on it, nicely.As a life-long artist, I've owned many display easels in the past. None impressed me... until now.This easel is cleverly designed to use minimal moving parts, keeping the easel light enough to use for outdoor shows and other display opportunities.However, it's also solid and heavy enough to use for actual painting, in my studio. Even with a large (24" x 36" gallery-wrapped) canvas on it, it doesn't tilt or rock.It arrives well packaged. The wood parts are in cloth bags. The hardware comes in labelled, tidy, plastic bags. There's even a real (and nice!) screwdriver included. Once the easel was set up, I put that right into my toolbox; it'll be useful in the future.I was hoping for a nice, practical easel. This exceeded my expectations on all fronts.If you're an artist, photographer, architect, or have any reason to need a high-quality easel that's reasonably portable too, this is what you're looking for. Easily a five-star product. Highly recommended!
