This was a perfect fit and replacement for my very old Waterpik. The original started to leak where the tip inserts into the handle. I guess the seal finally deteriorated after 10+ years. This product looks identical to the original and fits perfectly. The only thing I did differently was to use the original fitting that connects at the bottom of the unit to the hose. I thought the original looks a little more sturdy and didn't seem to have suffered any aging effects. The only other thing to note is that the swivel where the tip connects is a little stiff, both when swiveling the tip to aim it and when ejecting the tip. I attribute that to it's newness and expect it to loosen up with use. Longevity is unknown but I expect it to last until I need to replace the whole unit. For the price, it was well worth it compared to throwing the whole unit away. And also much cheaper than getting from the manufacturer, if they even have it available for sale.

I started noticing a small puddle of water was showing up on my counter top when I was using my water pic. When I realized the hand piece was leaking, I thought I was going to have to replace the whole unit. I started looking for a replacement for my water pic when I came across the replacement hand piece. I already used the pause button on the original one so I wasn’t worried about that part. What I worried about was am I going to get the same amount of pressure. It is rare to have a replacement of anything to work the same as an original. Well I can say without any hesitation the replacement handle works just as good, in some cases better. The noise I was starting to hear has disappeared, and as I stated before, the pressure has not changed. I’m completely satisfied with my purchase and I’m over the moon about not having to replace the entire water pic! It is easy to use and the flexibility of the tube is great. I think it may be a bit longer than the original one. It was super easy to replace. It comes with two screws and a small gasket. The only thing you need is a small screw driver and 5 minutes of your time.

Works as expected, but does not fit the cradle.Replacing the old Waterpik handle was very easy. The new handle works fine and the jet feels about the same as with the original handle.This replacement handle does not fit in the cradle. I leave the handle laying in the top of the pump unit, which is not as neat as with the original handle. I would give five stars if the handle fit the cradle properly.I can't decide whether I like the interrupt button on this replacement versus the on/off slider on the original. On the original handle, my thumb would frequently miss the slider and instead eject the tip (making a bit of a mess). With the new one, the button is much easier to find. However, since the button is only a momentary interrupt, one hand must hold down the button while the other hand switches off the Waterpik at the pump.

While the part was a perfect fit, the quality of the hose was subpar as it appeared to be a thinner walled design. Will see if this holds up over time.Still, for the money it worth purchasing and trying out.
