This worked well on my Oster when I groomed our doodle. Doodle hair is annoying. Normally it takes me two hours. This blade size saved me over an hour. The dog is still pouting and won’t come near me.

These are best bang for the buck, all steel :) enough to move through a large dog cooling only twice each

I wanted to write my review in regards to some of the other reviews. There's a lady here who was holding her new 10# to her old on and said it wasn't the same?? In the inner part they dont all come the same theyre made by different companies. Pop it on and try it before relying on your eyes to see the difference. To the few who are the at home grooms be sure to touch the 10# every few minutes as to not be burning the dogs. Groomers rarely if ever use 10 blades on the whole body of your pup. Good luck, be careful all the newer blades I've come across have been heavier and sharper. Which goes for this new 10 that does just what I need it to do. Thank you.

The media could not be loaded. I bought these as a replacement to the original blade that came with my clippers, because it’s been in use for about five years now. I went to go install the new blade head, and it is literally 1 to 2 mm too small for the moving part of the clippers to fit into the plastic piece that actually causes it to move. IF I shoved the plastic piece in there, or attempted to use it as it is, it would’ve destroyed that little plastic part on my clippers that is essential for moving the blades. This blade head was not easy to use, because I couldn’t even get it installed. I can’t comment on the heat level or the trimmer quality either. I wish it fit because it WAS a great price. Unfortunately now it has to be returned. Buyer beware; you might get something that is ever so slightly off and therefore you will not be able to use it and go through the hassle of returning it, and having to get a new one that fits.

I just replaced my andis blades (#10) with one of these and I'm mad I didn't try them sooner. It went from some 2 hours and lots of fighting my poodle to give her a cut, to about 35 minutes with little movement from her.These things are sharp and cut fantastic through thick hair.Rarely give 5 starts but these get it.Looking forward to seeing how long they last, if they don't make it I'll adjust the rating. But so far it's a solid 5..

I cut my goldendoodle’s hair myself. I rotate the blades to keep the temperature down but these work nicely. I think people that give poor reviews do not have realistic expectations of what these cutters should do. You still need clean hair and if there is bad matting you have to cut under it.
