Just like the Hibachi restaurants.
This is perfectly blended with ginger like the restaurants use. Nice light flavor and consistency. Perfect for a bowl of lettuce.

Not a strong ginger flavor
Tastes like the dressing you get at teppan restaurants, just on the weak side. Needs more ginger!

Authentic!
When I decided to try to find a purchasable dressing matching what I had enjoyed in Japanese restaurants (in the US, I should mention), I had no idea how difficult that would be. However, this ginger dressing matches *very* closely what I recall as the taste and texture of those dressings. Excellent! In terms of packaging, the tops all were appropriately affixed -- and the 3 bottles were shipped in that little cardboard contraption shown on the Amazon web page. It took me a moment to figure out how to get it open without destroying it (the key is to open the bottom of the "box").Anyway, full marks. Will order again, once I enjoy these bottles!Update 5/21/2024Well, I did order again, this time two sets of 3 -- so, six glass bottles. When they arrived, my first thought was "Good grief! Talk about over-packaging!" However ... we are after all talking about 6 rather fragile glass bottles. And, all six arrived intact. Given that, not over-packaged! No change in the rest -- good stuff.

Close, but not hibachi salad dressing
This is the closest flavor of ginger dressing I’ve found so far to the hibachi salad dressing used at restaurants, but it still doesn’t taste quite right. It has a deep grill flavor that sets it off just enough to not be good on lettuce. I’m back to the hunt.

The closest I've found to a Japanese steakhouse ginger dressing!
This dressing is the closest dressing I've found to what you get at a good Japanese steakhouse. One thing to note is that the consistency isn't thick and almost chunky like you'd get at one of these restaurants. It's much smoother like regular dressing. The flavor is almost nailed, and I really like it! I wish it was less expensive, but it's definitely a quality dressing that's worth trying!
