Black Curtain Rods for Windows 28 to 60 inch, 5/8 inch Adjustable Wrap Around Blackout Curtain Rods for Bedroom & Outdoor

This is an ABSOLUTE MUST for blackout curtains!I never knew about these before! I had another blackout curtain in here before these and we had to put a nail on the side of the window to hook the curtain down and keep the light from shining in my eyeballs. My side of the bed was on that side of the wall. When we got new curtains, I saw these wraparound rods for blackout curtains! If you zoom in to the pictures, you can get a good look at them. Pay attention to how you start your curtain on the rod, too. Look at how I did. You want them to start that way otherwise it doesn't work. These rods are VERY sturdy! They are easy to install, too. They recommend installing them 3"-5" past the edge of the window. I installed these 3.5" past the sides and 2.5" above the top. I'm thinking I could have installed them another inch or two at the top, maybe. If you are getting blackout curtains, GET THESE RODS! They are sturdy, quality, necessary and pretty!!

The rods were very easy to hang, thanks to the included installation hardware (anchors and screws). The instructions were clear, and I had them up in no time.One thing I really appreciated was the robust and durable build—the rods feel solid and well-made, not flimsy like some others I’ve used in the past. So far so good. Pretty sturdy. I like that they go to the wall and the curtains don’t let a lot of lights in on the sides.

Easy to screw on wall and pretty sturdy. The color is a bright gold and solid material. I like that this can accommodate blackout curtains easily.

These went up easily and work well. The curved edges keep light from shining through the sides.I think they would drive me crazy if I opened / closed the curtains every day, since the middle portion of the rod can slide back and forth a bit, but I don't do that with these. I just tuck the middle of the curtains behind a hook if i want more light let in.I was most concerned about the light blocking, ease of use, and stability. This fit the bill!

The media could not be loaded. These are great curtain rods that we’ve used over 6 windows so far. I was worried about previous reviewers but decided to go for it knowing they could be returned if there happened to be issues. All sets were good with 4 being longer and two shorter sizes.We did not have any with missing parts or bent rods or screws. They even included extra screws and anchors for each set. The anchors being higher quality than other curtain rods I’ve ordered in the past year so that was a lovely surprise.There are not clear directions for installing these rods so do your own research if you do not have experience. Do keep a level handy since the long rod comes in sections and is a bit wobbly you cannot rely on that to get the two sides just right.My main thought for this particular design was for our bedroom to keep out the light coming in from the edges. But I noticed we have a tight corner in the living room and decided to go for matching throughout the house.I have to say I prefer this to any other curtain rod with whatever fancy finials. The focus is on the curtains themselves and there’s no bracket showing and getting on my nerves. The end result is a clean and beautiful design.Another hint for I stalling is check the length and make sure you have space with the extending rod section to unscrew it from the end and remove it. I did not do this with the first window and will now have to unscrew it to get the curtains down to wash them. No big deal but makes the ease of removal very difficult. The next three I I stalled I tested first and measured the ends to fit so I can easily unscrew it to get the curtains down. Since they’re white that will be very necessary.Now to get a few more for the rest of the windows in the house.I will note the gold is a classic gold matching most other shades that come in gold for household goods. A bit brassy and most parts are metal. But definitely not real brass. Obviously we knew that beforehand.

Nice rod! Very sturdy. I wanted something simple to hang some window curtains on a 42” wide window. It goes together easily and has extension bars to lengthen it. It was very easy to mount the brackets and screw the rod into place. The screws and anchors are included. I didn’t need the anchors for my window size.

Not sturdy. Easy to install.Make sure you don’t have heavy weighted curtains.
