I just bent back the bottom of some of the stems and put them into the vase like that!I paired these with a matte black vase that I purchased separately (also from Amazon), and together they give such a cozy, slightly dramatic charm to my mantel! (The vase does NOT come with the stems. Just fyi as the listing photo shows the florals in a black vase) They arrived fluffed out and full, and the color is even prettier in person. I also did not notice any bad smell when taking these out of the box!At around $30 at the time of writing this review, they’re not the cheapest. But they look way more expensive than they are, and I definitely think they’re worth the price for the quality and fullness.I’m including a video so you can see how they look styled in real life!Hope this helps someone else with their space, too! 😊

These flowers are beautiful. They are full and well made. The stems are long enough for many applications. I was able to make three vases with these. Perfect for what I was wanting.
