Easy to cut to size. Works as well as more expensive brands, at a great value. Easy to clean as it stays in shape. Arrived vacuum packed and gained normal shape quickly. Has the same look and feel as expensive filters.

Good basic filter foam. It comes in a vacuum sealed package and so takes a bit of work or time to get it expanded back to full size. I am using the 20, 35, and 50 in 1.57" thickness for my sumps filter trays. it's easy to clean out and sturdy enough of wring and squish while cleaning it out. it cut easy with big scissors or a razor knife, and for me made 4 filter pads out of each of the grades for my setup (4ea. 8.5"x10" pads)- so i have plenty of spares for when i do wear one out.

Foam cut to size nicely, and works great for filtering.

We use these filters for rainwater off the roof to irrigate our yard, and fill the outdoor water fountain and birdbath. I cut the filter to fit around the water fountain pump to keep major leaves and gunk from hurting the little pump. I clean the filter or replace it about every 6 - 10 months. This material is easy to cut and clean, and is inexpensive enough to toss if I don't feel like cleaning it with a high pressure hose spray. It comes vacuum packed, so is a bit of a shock to see how flat it is when you get it. I followed directions to get it to stretch out. This is the first time the foam didn't fluff up immediately, so about 8" of it is unusable. I'm not worried as the 12" x 2' piece I purchased will last me a long time.

I bought these filters when my fish got ich. At first I thought they were junk because they are so thin, but overnight they expanded to 4x their original thickness! Totally worth it and I have enough for a very long time

I love this. It catches so much debris and keeps my water looking super clear. A lot better than without it. Easy to cut. Easy to clean it. I use hot water to remove any algae from it. Can be used over and over again. I use it as a pre-filter on my intake. And have some in my cannister filter. It's great!

Good item. Works as advertised. I originally got the 35 PPM, but returned it for the 20 PPM. I wanted a little more flow.Easy to set up. Comes vacuum sealed. Took it out, wet it for a minute, placed it in the dryer for 20 minutes. Came out like I wanted.Now I cut to size and stop paying for replacement filters in a couple tanks!
