Seller, how can you justify for an organic healthy product to have palm oil and yeast?

It says palm oil online (here on Amazon) but in fact the formulation has changed and on the bottle you'll see it has sunflower oil instead = so it is palm oil free. It does have yeast though, wanting to avoid this is a matter of preference of course.Hard to have an item that hasn't got a single ingredient that someone somewhere dislikes. It would be good if this company bought out a yeast free version.

Quoting from the tin: 'sea salt, maltodextrin (from maize*), rice* flour, vegetables 7.2% (onion*, carrot*, parsnip*), yeast extract, sunflower* oil, parsley*, turmeric*'. Ingredients marked * said to be organically grown, I've no means of checking all this, but the company's been going for years, and I imagine its statements have been verified at some time.

Can this be used on its own as a soup?

Yes it can - delicious. It can be used in sauces and curries and even in homemade coleslaw and potato salad. Healthy vegan product that one cannot do without. - lovely.
