Can’t open them. What should I do to make the lid easy to open/remove?

They make 2 lids, one loose and one tight, I guess because of issues with the plastic’s tendency to draw in between the corners in the molding. The loose lids are quite loose and need a little dab of silicone etc to stay on, the tight ones are really tight. Maybe lubricate or file the corners just a touch?

are these sold individually anywhere?

Not that I know of. We sell a minimum of 6 at a time.

What are the inside dimensions? I need to know if my item will fit inside.

Measured at inside corners with digital micrometer 3.798 inches,3.81, 3.811, 3.806, AND depth at 4 corners 1.837, 1.840, 1.833, 1.836.
