Q: Can I add a hose to pump,have a 18 gallon tank to empty and this is to short?

I'll bet you could but based on other reviews you would not be able to pump up, only downhill. The original hose attaches with a factory clip. It would be easy to attach another hose with the correct I.D. (about 1") and a hose clamp. PS: I have yet to actually used the pump yet, so this is based on what I see on the pump.
