Great Camera, Great price, Does everything I need. A no brainer!
I've had Bluerams cameras for a few years now. I share my basement as a short term rental, so I need good security as people I don't know are coming in and out of my house.I recently upgraded to this version, and love the ability to move remotely. The video quality is amazing, I can clearly see who is coming to and from my door. Even with the night vision. And hear them as they fumble with my code lock. It is very easy to setup in minutes and use with the app. I love that I can see what's going on wherever I am. And can look out the front door without getting up.I don't use the cloud feature because I have a 128g microSD that records for me. Luckily, I've only had to use the save video function once to confirm an undelivered package. I've made Gifs from the recorded video of my girlfriend doing silly things as she comes in and out. Its super easy to use.I like the review video part. It only saves when there's movement, when people approach, or basically when I would need to check the video. Its a scroll bar that shows the times that there was movement, so its easy to find and get to when I want to check when people are arriving or leaving. The only thing that bugs me is sometimes, there is a lag when I go to check the video. The stream cuts out for a bit, goes to 0kbps. But its never long enough to be super annoying. I'm not fully sure if that's the camera itself, or my internet, or router. Not really a big deal.I am very happy with this camera and the app system!

This camera js GREAT!
This camera is awesome! I was looking for a wired camera so I don’t have to keep charging it and came across this one from Blurams. The lens is crystal clear and it can zoom in really tight. You can tilt and pan as well and both work exceptionally well. It comes with a way to waterproof the power connector and has an Ethernet plug as well if you want to hardwire it to your network. The Blurams app is also really well designed and works flawlessly. I highly recommend this camera.

What Could Have Been …
Currently I have nine security cameras installed around the exterior perimeter of my house. Over the course of the last ten years or so I have purchased over thirty cameras where some were returned due to being not up to snuff and some ceased to function due to wear.I state this up front not to brag but to establish my credential as an avid consumer of security cameras.I value my privacy so I prefer to store video footage locally, i.e., not in the cloud. While it was easy to find security cameras without cloud storage ten, or even five, years ago, it appears the vast majority, if not all, security cameras sold today store video footage in the cloud whether consumers agree to it or not.The BluRams camera in this review, which was bought and installed in February 2024, does have the capability to store video footage in the cloud although there is no nagging of subscription which is a plus. There is a slot for a microSD card in the camera which is what I use.Unlike solar powered security cameras, this is a camera with a wire to plug into an electrical outlet so power is never an issue, unlike solar powered ones that could be out of juice after several cloudy days. The resolution of the lens in this camera is very high. Images are always crisp and clear. Color is accurate. Contrast and white balance are both spot on.Another high point of the camera is the app. The video footage is at the top of the screen whereas the time line labels are underneath on the left hand side of the screen. As I pan, i.e., swipe, down and up in the time line section, I can see the time changed with the video footage corresponding to the time displayed up top. Usually it only takes no more than a couple of seconds for a particular video footage to show. This is very impressive as my nine cameras are controlled by five apps. None of the other four apps came close to the BluRams app in terms of responsiveness. There is an option to turn off the microphone, which is rare amongst the other security camera apps I have used. In the state where I live, recording voice could be considered illegal so an option to turn off the microphone is not only helpful, but in my case neededThe one downside of this camera is the motion detection feature. In the location where it is installed, the camera cannot differentiate human from non human motion. As a result, there are way too many false alarms despite the troubleshooting sessions with BluRams technical support. Eventually I disabled motion detection as I could live without it given the location of the camera. It is worth noting that BluRams technical support usually responded to me within one day, even on weekends. If BluRams could eliminate false alarm in the motion detection feature, this would be a five stars security camera. For now, I’d recommend this camera if you are looking for a fairly inexpensive, reliable camera with a stellar app that captures great video and allows local video footage storage whereas motion detection is not a must have feature.Features not testedThe bluRams app lists a number of services such as BluramsGuard Plan, Family Care+, Image Anomaly Patrol, etc. that I do not use. Nor have I bothered to investigate what they are.

Impressive PTZ Features in a Reliable Security Cam
This is the 3rd purchase of this security camera and have been really impressed, especially with its PTZ capabilities. The pan and tilt functions give me a wide range of coverage, allowing me to monitor large areas with ease. The zoom feature is clear and responsive, making it easy to focus in on details without losing image quality. Setup was simple, and the controls are smooth whether I’m using the app or desktop. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their home or business security system.

They’re good for 3-45 days, then something fails, and so does the support
They used to make a decent camera, and used to have decent customer service. But now the last few cameras I have gotten from them, both inform & outdoor models all have problems, and they don’t even want to support it.Out of 9 new cameras I got in the last 2 months, 3 of them have bad night vision, suddenly got cloudy & white spots, and 2 of them like 75% of the time don’t motion detect for large events, like someone walking up from 20 feet away, then standing directly in front of the camera, only 2-3 feet away, shows no motion. This happens continuously. And none of them ever get the ai event right, a cat can walk by, and it says personal appeared. A person can walk by, and it says vehicle or pet. A car drives by, and it says person or package. They’re just getting worse & worse. I had 3 Blurams cameras from years ago, and I decided they’ve been doing so well, I’d replace my entire ring system with them. What a mistake. And now I see why Blurams camera prices keep getting lower & lower, because they know the quality is failing.

Super Camera
This camera is awesome, very versatile and works well even though the Wi-Fi box is about 40 feet away in the house. Easy to hook up and connecting to Wi-Fi is quick and simple.
