In this long-term review, I'll share my real-world usage across a range of devices and setups, and why—despite a few quirks—this adapter deserves a spot in any tech bag.To begin, the form factor is spot-on. Measuring only about 3.5cm by 1.8cm, it’s smaller than a matchbox and weighs next to nothing. That might sound trivial, but when you’re travelling or constantly setting up different kits, size matters. Whether I’m working at my desk or on-location doing video setups for clients, I prefer to pack light and only carry essentials. This adapter meets that need perfectly, occupying practically no space yet solving a critical compatibility issue.Let’s talk about build. The adapter is made from a combination of PVC and metal, with a finish that feels more durable than some generic counterparts I’ve tested over the years. The PVC shell provides enough flex to prevent cracking under casual stress, while the internal metal connectors ensure solid, uninterrupted signal transmission. That’s significant, especially considering some adapters I’ve used in the past would loosen or disconnect with even mild movement.Now, let’s talk about some practical challenges. The media could not be loaded. Bought this adapter so I could add a monitor on to my laptop which only had mini hdmi this cable is great for everyday use and requires a great amount of force to remove
