Litter boxes aren’t the most exciting item to buy, but I’m quite happy with this one! Lid clicks on more securely and off more easily than other models I’ve had. I also like that the bottom back section is higher - the box I had prior had a lower seam that urine got into. The folding door also makes it sure easy to scoop out a mess quickly. I ordered this because the size fit the space I had available but I’ve been really happy with how easy it is to clean!

My second Amazon review. So, take it for what it's worth.It hasn't dissapointed and excellent value for the money. Not confident the filter filtered much of my kitten's bountiful "scent." But placing a refreshingly inexpensive air freshener from the Dollar (or maybe a couple more) Store (sorry, I couldn't help myself) next to or atop the litter box did the trick at a lower price point and less bother.This is the only covered litter box I've owned, so I can't compare its litter retention to other covered makes/models. My kitten does track out a bit, but CONSIDERABLY less than my uncovered box, and, of course, no launching of litter from my uncovered box. You're the better person if you can successfully navigate the use of an uncovered box.The Amazon's lid is easily removeable for cleaning and just as easily reinstalled. For daily (or so) scooping, the foldable flap (you'll see from the pics and videos) is great.

This is a super nice litter box. This is our second purchase. Our cats really love this litter box. Out of the four litter boxes they use this one the most. It has a high back to it, which is great for us, since we have a male cat that sprays in his litter box. If it is too low, it leaks out onto the floor. With this one, it doesn’t do that. This is definitely a winner! It is sturdy, a nice size, good looking, easy to clean, has the see through door. Overall, just a great litter box.

Happened twice. Ordered a new box and 3 38 pound boxes of litter. Both times the boxes were shipped with one of the litter and dented the boxes. The lid does not set in properly now

It's a good covered litterbox. My cat likes it, it covers odor well, and most importantly, it keeps my cat from shoveling litter all over the floor.Is it perfect? No.Is it as perfect as I could reasonably expect for the price? Yes.Pros: the design is mostly good. The cover is high, and the door opens not just for the cat, but along the top too for easy scooping. It functions well. Did I mention how cheap it is? Price matters!Cons: The plastic is a bit thin, which has a couple effects. The clips on the cover are a bit finicky. Removing the cover isn't necessary to scoop the litter, but I do like to remove it to empty the litterbox. It's a mild annoyance. Also, because the plastic is thin, picking up the litterbox by the top handle on the cover seems a bit iffy. I can see the thin plastic bending or warping out of shape over a long time. Again, a mild annoyance.But here's the thing, it's cheap. I don't keep plastic litter boxes for more than a couple years max anyway. The urine smell eventually seeps into all plastic litterboxes eventually. So it's good to replace them occasionally. Or get a stainless steel litter box, but if you're in the market for stainless steel, expect to have a stainless steel budget of you want a good one.Sometimes good enough is best. I don't think you can get a better litterbox for $33. I give this 5 stars because the values is good. I don't need it to last forever. I can afford to replace it.

Love it! Wish I would have ordered to in a larger size. My cat wishes that too!!

Compared to over litter boxes my family has had for the cats, this is the best. I feel like it protects the litter (longevity wise) better than others, allows the cats privacy and keeps the smell inside better. The cats have been using this box over the other box we have. Normal expectancy with keeping litter inside (my cats love to stick their paws outside of the hole to get the litter off their paws). I will buy again when we need another one for the porch

First, the most annoying thing about this box is cleaning it out. Because our scoopers have straight leading edges and this litter box is rounded you can’t efficiently/effectively pick up clumps. The scooper would need to match the curvature of the inside of the box.Second, you have to go through this whole ordeal of removing the top, needing a place to set it, and then putting it back after cleanup. This is extra energy for the humanoid to have to go through time and time and time again. Yes you can reach in without removing the top and it’s a real PITA because of the roundness of the box and the straight edge of the scooper.Third, I wouldn’t pick up the box and carry it by the luggage handle on top. The latches on the sides are too unstable. You’re going to have quite a mess when the latch fails and the box is full of litter and what not.What I like about the box is that it looks nice, and has a vertically rounded entry where the cat enters. The roundedness encourages my cat to enter completely into the box instead of 3/4 of the way. With her previous box, she had her back feet standing on the box ledge, then peeing outside of the box, not wanting to enter all of the way. That rounded unevenness ledge can give the cat a feeling of instability to balance on which then encourages her to completely enter the box.Anyway, regardless of my criticisms, it’s more important I have my cat going inside of the box than outside and this box has accomplished that.
