Lots of configurations
In a very small bath, I used this to mount 3 shelves, all in a line, with the two bars behind them, the squared board end flush with mirror-lavatory wall and the bars attached to side wall. Nice flush open shelving for makeup and perfumes; soaps and cotton holders. As others mentioned, the boards are light weight but sturdy. Once mounted, no one can be the wiser. Color is blue-gray. More gray. I suggest previewing before mounting- blue tape the shelves to the bars with a level. Mark screw holes. Then attach screws to bottom of shelves, starting with top shelf and moving down. Again use level and mark screw holes for bars.

Great little shelving unit.
Pros: The shelves were uniform and in good shape. They were completely painted so you could use them in either configuration. Support brackets were welded well and were well aligned with each other so the shelves came out relatively level.Cons: The hardware package was complete, but was of poor quality. When attempting to secure the long screws into the plastic anchors, the heads of two if them started stripping out using a manual screwdriver. I wound up using some drywall screws in place of them.

It's serving its purpose for now
It did the job but one could question the quality of the "real wood." The metal frame will be good to have some day when I eventually replace the real wood with really real wood and then it will be 5 stars. For now it does the job, I would by it again although it is pricey for what you get.

Be mindful of where you want to place these!
Installation was very simple and took no time, but I didn’t plan well where I wanted them in my dining room.. part of my wall had been previously patched so drilling a hole for the anchor created too large of a hole and didn’t hold the anchor in place. I recommend checking the wall and apply some pressure to see if the markings in place are a bit too soft to drill through, it works very well in untouched places. The last hole I drilled was in a patched spot on the wall, so instead of drilling four more spots I just removed the anchor and slid that last hole up a bit, the good thing about the bars is that the hole for the screws in A bit oval shape, so you can adjust the height a bit. All I had to do was move the bars up a bit, and use the same anchors in place, minus the last one that couldn’t fit in the wall. If the anchors become an issue with the wall, mine being dry wall, I think the screws are long and sturdy enough to hold the shelves in place. Just be mindful that without the anchors it could possibly give in weight if too many heavy items are placed on the shelves. I saved my heavy items for the middle shelf and lighter items on the top and hitting so the weight was even and would tear out that one screw without it’s anchor.

Just what I was looking for! Perfect spice rack.
We live in like, a 100 year old home, where the kitchen hasn’t had much updating, hence the lack of some modern cabinetry. We wanted a handy place for our spices near the stove and this fit perfectly in the corner! It’s very sturdy and can definitely hold more weight than our spices. Installation was easy, and didn’t take long. The instructions were helpful. Although I deviated a bit, and did not draw all the lines on the walls, as it suggested. I just measured and put a couple small marks where I needed them. (Btw, if you do draw all the lines on your walls, a magic eraser will take it right off when you’re done) one annoying part of installation was inserting the screws, upside down, into the shelves to hold them in place, from below. I found my standard screw driver to be a bit too long for the space allotted between the black bracket and the shelf above it, so it was hard to keep the screw driver straight. Another of note, is that the shelves seemed “flimsy” compared to the sturdiness of the black metal bars. The wood is very light, feels like cardboard, and I was surprised when I first handled it. That said, once fully installed, the entire unit is very sturdy and no one will know, or will you mind, how “flimsy” the wood plates seemed on their own. A bonus is, you can also configure the wood plates in whatever direction you’d like, before you secure them. Good buy, I’m very happy with it!

Not recommended
No pre drilled holes on the wooden shelves and the gap in the metal frames seems a lil too much to feel secure as well. Needs to be worked on more to feel safer
