Easy to fit and easy to set up 😊

I bought these as similar items I bought 3 years ago have died. They are much better now. They are quicker to connect and easier to set up. Alexa integrates better and they find the WIFI if they get switched off at the wall much quicker and remember the settings. We have only been using them a few months but so far, so good. The connections are still a little feeble, but they seem to work okay. They do exactly what we want and they are keenly priced. I think Alexa likes me again.

Great idea but the reality is that they are rubbish!

I've recently installed some decking lights and needed to be able to switch them. Getting a power supply there was easy but installing a switch in an aesthetically acceptable position was tougher. My solution was to use these and install them in an adaptable box under the decking itself.It is a simple live and neutral in and out so it is about the simplest device possible from a circuit perspective. it was quickly linked with my smart life app and integrated seamlessly with Alexa.I have a couple of niggles that aren't worth marking the product down for:There is no way of mounting this, there are no screw lugs, so the switch just "floats" in the adaptable box.The cable grip was way too small for the flex that fed the LED driver and so the cables couldn't be clamped (not that I'm expecting any strain so not really an issue.In the smart life app, I couldn't change the name from the default "WiFi Breaker L". I could change it in the Alexa app and I have been able to change this for my other Smartlife devices. This could be my lack of experience with this type of set up though.

As another reviewer has mentioned, they tried to flash with Tasmota, but the firmware is too new to use Tuya Convert (Which would allow for local, rather than Tuya cloud servers somewhere in China).As this uses an ESP chip, in time, someone technical should be able to resolve this.I attempted the same and have the same result.So with the little project to try and remove the need for internet access out the way, for everyone else, this is a great little product.Installation was very easy.The device is small enough to fit neatly in the socket, without any jigger-pokery needed (for me at least).Getting this detected via the SmartLife app was simple enough.I look forward to hopefully this getting support via the HomeAssistant community at some point

Relatively inexpensive and worked straight out the box. Connected to wifi immediately and linked into Alexa with no problem.

This switch was a perfect solution to mounting an entry hanging light. I didn't have anywhere to install a light switch, but I did have power in the attic.I can turn on and off the light with an app and I can program a routine with Alexa.Only issue is that it can lose conductivity. Depending on where the switch is mounted, that can be easy or nearly impossible, depending on location.

I was looking for wifi smart switch for my house and finally I purchased it. It’s very easy to install according to instructions manual. Best things It’s got apps for Apple and android phone. It’s best and worth according to price.

I have now used them for a while and they are working fine and the app is decent. What i dont like is that they are a little bit big for what they do and more importantly, the light does not turn off 100%, wich is anoying when trying to sleep. It is not bright at all, but noticeable.
