The hearing aids are absolutely wonderful and for such a cheap price I'm absolutely delighted

They work, they help and they are sensibly priced.
My mother has had trouble with her hearing for some considerable time. Unfortunately when she had her stroke, the hospital managed to "lose" her hearing aids. On her release I contacted her GP and requested a hearing test and fitting for new ones. Three years later, we are still on a waiting list. By this time of course I was completely fed up. I called in another company who came out to test her hearing and then recommended a hearing aid that cost a four figure sum. Seriously, over a grand to hear properly, oh, and for the privilege of them visiting. Some short words were used to suggest they leave. So, we went on for a while having to wind the tv and radio volume up. Then my wife suggested I have a nose around on Amazon to see what was here. After a couple days browsing and discussing the various aids available we decided to give these a try. If they didn't work there wasn't a large amount of money invested and we could try something else.As it turns out, I didn't have to try anything, these worked just fine from the moment I put them on her ears. They are a little bit bulky and need to be tucked behind the ear with the 'tube' carefully bent around the ear or they will fall off quite easily. Once we had learned how to fit them properly they stayed on all day. They are light, and my mother has not complained of any discomfort wearing these all day. These are supplied with a battery charging unit (USB) but I don't think the batteries are re-chargeable. I bought spares just in case. I haven't yet managed to find batteries of that size which are re-chargeable, but that's probably just poor keywords or something. So, these aren't great but they do work, sound is amplified and fed through the tube to the ear. At low volume they didn't help much, but higher volumes seem to work well, so I guess her hearing is quite severely impaired. However, since she has had these she can join in with conversations and hear sounds that before were invisible to her. The radio and TV can be used at normal volumes and she can hear them properly. So, for that alone these are a bargain and a marvel. Her quality of life has risen considerably and she's much more cheerful - partly I guess because people don't have to shout at her any more.Build quality is pretty good, and they are finished in an attractive satin with no burrs, rough or sharp edges. Three different buds are supplied for the ear piece to allow for different ear shapes (I think) so should fit the majority of people. they are extremely light and we have not had to change the batteries yet (these were purchased in May.) Replacement batteries are available everywhere, but I've found them cheapest here on Amazon. One thing to note is that initially there is a feedback noise produced by these, but that occurs mostly if the ear buds are not inserted properly, or if you've used the wrong size bud for the ear. This feedback can be irritating, so it needs to be dealt with quickly. Once we found the bud that fitted my mother's ear and inserted them properly into the ear, there was no more noise or feedback from them. There is a small switch on the back of these to turn them on and off, and a small dial for volume control. It is easily adjustable to the wearer's needs, but might be difficult for old people as the switch and dial are very small. So, they may need help with that. For the pleasure my mother now takes in hearing music and TV these are worth every penny, and I'm so happy that we were able to find affordable aids rather than getting stung by our high street bloodsuckers.Delivery was extremely quick and they arrived undamaged.

Would not charge - poor quality product
Hearing aids would not charge and did not function. Also, the provided instructions are written in Chinglish. An ear trumpet would be far more effective than this product; however, they do make great ear plugs for hearing protection.Very poorly designed and manufactured from the same sort of materials that are used to make the gifts found inside budget Christmas crackers. Dont buy....

Wire not long enough.
Although this ear amplifier did increase the sound from the tv it also picked up other background noise which was annoying. The materials it was made from looked very cheap plastic and the wire was not very long so did not fit at all well on my husband's ear, (not a particulally large ear) it stopped the arm of his glasses resting properly on his ear so was very uncomfortable. If the wire was longer the main body would have slipped more behind the ear instead of on top and fitted better so have had to return this item. Other than the fit it was a reasonable price and worked quite well.

Truly amazing great value for money product
I received the Digital Hearing Enhance this morning, exactly on the day the seller statedWhat a fantastic product, excellent quality, good to look at etc. After charging both the devices via the charger provided, it was time for the test.I spent a few minutes reading the instructions then selecting the correct ear piece, I placed the unit behind my ear, the earpiece fitted snugly into my right ear canal.Volume control at lowest, turn on the switchand oh my a real Eureka moment. I could hear clearly for the first time for many many years.Truly amazing, I had been looking at hearing improvement devices for six months but was always put off due to the huge expense of many of them.I had been quoted £800 (yes eight hundred Pounds) by an audiologist on the day I ordered this Digital Hearing EnhancerMy idea being to order as a trial, but having worn one in my right ear for a few hours. It has become my best friend. So if you are having a problem with hearing, in my opinion, splash a very small amount of cash on this truly amazing great value for money product

Poor use
Poor 8 hours to charge 1 day's use when using the ear buds are that poor quality means your ears hurt AND YOU can't hear anything from a distance ⁷

Does the job OK
It arrived ,and I noticed the plug for the charger was of a different type, but I had a European to UK traveler plug ,which only cost me £1 from The pound shop. This did the trick as you can see from the photo's For the price paid the Digital Hearing Enhancer is a bargain .Others had said it is not very loud .My hearing is very bad in both ears and with just the one in I could hear the TV which was 10 feet away ,very well and it was loud. I bought this product as I spent £1,200 at Specsavers and had various problems with them ,filter blocking, battery compartment not connecting at times. So if I have a problem now I can slip these in .

My pals.
The wire coming from the bit to the ear piece could be a little longer.
