It works well for my metal, wood and leather projects and Longer support is there and easy to work with.

this is an excellent machine I have had the hardest time getting my hands on one of these machines doing the exact thing I wanted it to make I did have to adjust somethings around it took time to understand and adjust and learn it does use the GRBL software and so far I have seen the Lightburn software as well however the app that you can use with your iphone or smart device is completely crappy garbage app completely useless in nature just like shovelware. I love it I couldn't ask for a better machine the other fripe I have with this machine is that there's no glass casing to prevent any of the stink emited from engraving. it did come with a micro SD card with several software downloaded there was one techincal issue I encountered for some reason I had to roll back an update (ch320) now it took me a while to find that issue out once I got it locked down I was able to craft up my projects I am just a novice so there's lots to learn about this machine. the materials make out of is durable and sturdy. if I ever am interested in getting more I know what machine will work the best

I will say, I wasn't expecting this to do as well as it does from some of the reviews, and I did have some issues to begin with. For starters the cut speed chart in the manual is in MM per minute, while the LightBurn program setting is MM per second. So make sure you do your conversions to get the correct speed. Other than that, assembly is very easy. Cut quality and definition are very clear. The only real drawback that i have found is that the cables do not have anything to ride on, and if not careful they will catch on the back corner and throw the cut off causing you to have to restart and watch them carefully. That is the only reason for the four star review. Will definitely be getting the Air assist to help clean up image burning and the Roller to engrave cups.

I've loved this product from the moment I got it set up. It works great and I'm having a ton of fun with it, so I decided to upgrade my laser module to the 20w. Being new to laser engraving, I ran into a few issues, but customer service was absolutely amazing in helping me resolve my issues and I'm so excited to keep going with my upgraded accessories.

The media could not be loaded. Useless laser stopped burning after one use. They say they have support but there is zero support . Chat tells you to call or email. Email gives you a generic message everytime. Calling gets you music and a voicemail with NEVER A CALL BACK. Do not buy from this company they litterally stole $300 from me and I got a longer paperweight. If I could give zero stars I would . I’m sorry that Amazon allows them to sell here

This longer ray 5 is super easy to setup. Putting it together took about 20 minutes, and getting something to engrave took seconds. I have used a different laser before and it was extremely difficult to use. You can't beat the value you get for this laser. I also had a small problem with the laser. Customer service has also been great and very responsive. This is a great laser and company.

The media could not be loaded. This was very easy to put together and it works great. This is the best diode laser I have ever used. The cost is very reasonable.

I returned it because I was afraid I might blind the dogs with it. It would be better with a box to shield the work. I never actually used it. When I returned it Amazon sent my money back right away but kept trying to bill me for the purchase. Took 6 weeks to get that cleared up.
