I have a Staffy and I have been through many toys.I am happy with Tuffys ultimate range and their toughest (mega) range.My dog but a whole in this black but on this but I cut off the threads and took note as to how he did it. He picked and picked. So I just told him No and have learnt to take it away once he begins to do that.It took him some time to pick at it. (5min) so I would say play fetch with this but don't leave your dog with it after because with any toy if they are determined they will destroy it.I feel these tuffy toys are excellent ( I have a few - the tug ones are our favourite) because unlike ripes and plastics they will not damage the inside of my digs mouth when we are playing.If you have a dog that doesn't pick and just bites down then it is unlikely to damage this at all.It cleans well as you can wash it!

Ok, so it's not a chew toy but, with care, these toys last my beagles longer than any other toy for a daily game of catch. By that I mean a month or two...but compared to other toys on the market...the ones that your dog does actually want to play with, this is one of the best.....just don't leave unattended because these well made seams do appear to offer a challenge to the more inquisitive dog. Definitely one of the few toys I would splash out on as so many other toys on the market simply equate to burning your money.

My Lakeland loves this, only reason I gave it 4 stars, well the squeaker inside broke pretty easily, otherwise flyer intact & dog loves it

This brand is the best and whilst it seems expensive it has not been destroyed like all previous toys. Even the squeaks have not been ripped out!. They still love it a few years on. Excellent value with free delivery too!

I bought a ring It was a good quality toy and quite strong, the problem cam I bought it for a Lab puppy, they like to chew and are quite intelligent so he worked out how to pick the stitching with his little razor puppy teeth. At first this didn't seem a problem as it was mainly the logo he was picking, but he moved on to pick at the quilting eventually creating a small hole, a short time later he was in his own Christmas scene with the stuffing all over the room so it didn't even make a week.I would say it's a good quality toy but not for any dog with sharp teeth like puppy's.

Am really pleased with this, it's bigger than I expected and my dog is thrilled with it, it is tougher than other toys but if you have a dog which you know is an avid chewer then you can't expect it to last forever. No toy is indestructible but this one is certainly better than most.

Chew-happy beagle loves to chase this and play tug of war with it. It is very tough but if you’ve got a real chewer the black trim started to come away within first few hours. Our dog has managed to rip the surface but it took a lot of hard work on his part and even if the surface comes off the inside is well made with several layers that have remained in tact so no squeakers can be swallowed etc.

I have a husky who literally destroys every toy she owns within easily 2 minutes. Even when she had just been spayed and was drugged up (by the vet I hasten to add) she managed to get through the 3 new toys I had bought her. Since then I was reluctant to buy she more but I took a chance and bought her this. Firstly I was pleasantly surprised by the size, a good descent size for a husky and it felt very well made.Weeks later and she still hasn't even managed to rip the material, she's 'killed' one of the squeakers but the other two are perfectly fine. I'm a total convert to the Tuffy toys, I realise I sound like a Tuffy brand ambassador but I paid full price and think it's worth every penny!
