Works quite well but it's not fast.
I now have two of these for my Bug-Out Bag. I wanted the Bag to be equipped w/ solar rechargeable power banks so I can set it up w/ components that can be recharged; radio, flashlights, phones, and a charger for rechargeable AA & AAA batteries for other items.More of an observation than a complaint, I'll say these aren't real fast; both to charge and be charged. Perhaps that's the nature of these things. It's not a serious issue as long as you plan ahead, knowing that the you'll need time for it to do it's thing; power IN or OUT. For my use the solar charge capability was essential and, while slow, works just fine. The flashlight feature is nice, not sure how much I'll use it but nice to have. Same w/ the little compass; not sure of it's accuracy but doesn't seem too far off. I believe these are going to work fine for my needs. They are a bit larger and fairly heavy to be carried in a pocket but that's not the way I plan to use them. I've recommended them to family and friends and have now purchased two.

Works great! (Read for explanation of slow solar recharge time.)
I bought this to power the fan on an InstaFire Inferno Pro Stove (an indoor/outdoor camping & emergency stove) and for that it works great. It's well constructed, it has 3 USB ports, the flashlight is nice and bright, and the carabiner clip is a nice touch. However, as others have said, charging by the solar panel is slow; this is NOT a design flaw nor is it an underpowered solar panel. Doing a bit of research, most solar panels for a power bank in this size and price range typically provide 400-500 mAh. The capacity of the battery on this unit is 38800, so doing some basic math that means at a charging rate of 400 mAh (as listed in the manual for this model) it would take 97 hours to fully charge, and that's under ideal conditions. In the area that I live, the max amount of sunlight in a day is 16 hours, so that means it would take about 6 days to fully charge the battery. The solar panel is not really intended to completely charge up the battery, rather to 'top it up' after you've used it for a while, mainly for the flashlight. If you need to be able to solar charge this type of device faster, I suggest you purchase an additional solar charging panel; they can be purchased for $20 or less, and Amazon has plenty to choose from.

Turns off when charging Apple Watch or small devices
I purchased this to charge my Apple Watch USBC on my nightstand. Even with a full charge, I noticed that the charger would not completely charge the Apple Watch and would turn off after several minutes. To complete charging the watch takes about 6 times, manually turning the device on repeatedly to finish charging. The instructions say the charger will automatically turn off when the device is finished charging. I guess it is sensing the wrong signal from the Apple Watch battery.

Great product
Great product to have. It works where you are home or out snd about on the road somewhere bc it just needs the sun to charge it.

Very Bad Performance. NO "FAST CHARGING"! Only 2A-5V 10W per port.
Though the product info claims "Fast Charging", it did not support any "Fast Charging", "Quick Charging" (QC) or "Power Delivery" (PD) protocol at all. It only provides a steady 2A-5V 10W output on any port!I tested it using a "Kowsi KWS-066C Digital " USB Power Multimeter and a 100W rated USB-C PD cable to recharge various devices like QC cellphones and PD Chromebooks.I returned it because I couldn't use it for even single port fast charging of a cellphone.Details:The ports could only consistently provide 2A-5V 10W output! Even when only one port is being used, after the first second of 3A-5V 15W output the ports switch to the lower 2A-5V 10W output. The total for all 3 simultaneously charging ports is 30W but no single port consistently gives more than 10W.Though it did eventually recharge the QC phone, it took 3x longer than a functional "Fast Charge" should have taken and I didn't want to carry around both of these devices connected together for that much time. And of course this means it could not recharge a Chromebook which requires at least 15W minimum to recharge while it is powered off.The Solar Charging is almost a gimmick. Leaving the power pack exposed to bright sunlight recharging for long periods of time makes the unit so hot from the sun that it's internal batteries overheat and throttle down the already small solar input wattage. If you are camping off-the-grid, you are better off using separate portable solar panels to recharge it.Since I was returning it anyway, I didn't bother to verify its 143.56Wh capacity with the USB Power Multimeter (the industry standard conversion formula for this power pack is "143.56Wh = 38,800mAh x 3.7V"). It would have taken too many hours at the low maximum output wattage of only 10W to measure the total Watt-Hours required to completely drain and then recharge the power pack.Note: This power pack would not be allowed as passenger airplane carry-on luggage (no power packs are allowed at all as checked luggage). The FAA regulations only allow carry-on lithium power packs with a capacity of 100Wh or less, the equivalent to a labeling of 27,027mAh or less.

Not what I expected
Used it for about a week and lost it while hiking so i cant give any long term review but here is what i got from it.Went on a 5 day hiking trip with this (lost ot in the 4th day) thinking it would have enough juice to last the whole trip. Charged my phone twice, my headlamp once and my smartwatch once before it died on the 3rd day. Feels extremely light compared to other 40k mAh power banks ive held before so i doubt thats the real size of the battery. The solar panel is more of a gimick since it never made any real diference even thou the device was under direct sunlight all day long.

Works well!
It works well, just remember to leave it out in enough light to stay charged so when you need it, it's ready to go.
