Cute toy. Makes more noise than music.
Good news first: it's the size and shape advertised. The bellows and the outside of the case are surprisingly well made.On the inside, there are brass reeds and real leather valves, on aluminum plates which are screwed to plastic blocks. The reeds have been tuned (with a motorized tool). The leathers were generally cut too short, and cover only the 5 lowest notes out of 7.It has 2 sets of reeds on the treble side. All 7 notes here actually play. On mine, some are in tune, but most are around 10 or 20 cents sharp. Completely random whether each note has two reeds at the same pitch, or a mild tremolo, or an ear-splitting dissonance from the second reed being 30 cents away from the first. On the bass side, it's supposed to have a single-note bass button (G3 on the pull, C3 on the push), and a single major chord button (G major and C major), but on mine, the C3 single reed is more than halfway to B and barely sounds; the C chord button doesn't sound a chord (only the single G speaks not the C and the E); and if you have your hand over the air vents under the bass strap, you'll cut off the air to the reeds and get no sound at all.So - if you get lucky and get an instrument where everything works, your kid will have fun with it. If you don't you'll get a wheezy brick.

Troublesome
I do not know of any child who would have the patience to spend enough time with this hard to play accordion in order to play it successfully. The bellows are small, so don't hold enough air to get a full whole note out of it, and they are very stiff, so they are difficult to hold in your two hands. The straps don't really work for a child's hand, let alone an adult's. They have a thumb loop for holding the right side, but man that really hurt my hand after five or ten minutes. The buttons on the right play each note on a C major scale, without any accidentals, (sharps and flats) but each buttons doubles up on 2 notes: pull out while pressing the button and you get one note, push in and you get another. It's confusing as heck, and is just so difficult to maneuver this accordion that I really don't see a kid wanting to play this thing. It's so awkward and doesn't make the greatest of sounds. I really wanted to love this thing, but it takes itself so seriously and is so tough to hold and play. The picture of the cool kid holding it while leaning up against a wall just kills me. It would've been better if it had been just a toy that was easy to play but designed with less function and complexity. The instructions are in English and Chinese, and includes two songs, neither one I was able to replicate. Background: I owned and played 2 much larger sized accordions in the past. It's been awhile, but I do remember how much easier they were to play.

My 4 year old granddaughter loves it.
My granddaughter has shown to have an interest in all things musical. Me being the wonderful GiGi that I am, could not wait to buy it for her. It drives my daughter insane but I'm a hero for buying it 😂.
