Is the grind of this coffee like other folgers products or is it finer?

it is like other folgers products, I have a real problem with reflux but refuse to give up coffee, this works, I can have my coffee and not have a reflux problem

Can anyone explain the difference in actual taste from a dark/bold roast?

On a trip to Costa Rica, We visited a coffee plantation and got to see end to end production. The owner made no bones about saying light or medium roast is the only and best way to enjoy coffee, dark roast is dark because it is literally "burned" and as a result is less flavorful and somewhat bitter. Mild roast also has more caffeine.
